Was Millie at the wedding? Tbh I've heard her name but no idea what it is she actually does.

She had a hugely overpriced clothing line that went bust after a year, to absolutely nobody's suprise.

She must've been something before that though? Singer/model/whatever?

I don't like the headbands and I don't like fascinators, especially the ones that look like a bird making a nest in someone's hair.

I'm not a fan of fascinators either. They seem a very brutish thing. I've been to weddings in lots of different countries and only seen fascinators in the U.K.

Queen I think she was in one of those posh reality TV shoes, and then she married Professor Green. They're no longer together. She may even be remarried.

Another piece in the Fail today about Meghan's complicated tax status, and whilst she is a US citizen the US Government could "raid PH's multi-million pound fortune". They're really upping the ante.

There isn't much Meghan can do about US tax laws. And if she was fast-tracked into getting British citizenship then the Fail would have even more to say. Seems like she can't win!

I’d give the DM the benefit of the doubt with the US Tax article- isn’t it fairly well known that American citizens who live abroad are still liable to pay tax there?

It wasn’t nastily written, it just goes on to explain what the different tax rules in the US mean for her given her really unusual situation.

Well, I hope that the DM is more knowledgeable about US tax laws than they are about English grammar (emphasis mine):

"Meghan's last return, which would have to of been submitted to US authorities by April 17"

Meghan will have the top accountants in the world like anyone with money you can get out of paying tax. She will pay the barest minimum.

Not dissing her for that but it's unlikely the USA will get there hands on any of PH pounds. Daily Fail stirring the pot again the more they hate her the more I like her!

The US tax stuff is 100% nonsense. I mean, reall. HMRC and the IRS will come (if they haven’t already) to an agreement, which will have nothing to do with the rules “ordinary” people have to play by. It’s a diplomatic issue, not a fiscal issue. Someone at the DM just had a “I wonder what....” idea and actually put it to paper.

(Many many people with exceptional circumstances (eg extreme wealth, notoriety or fame) get similar special consideration)

Incidentally, the DM’s article on MM and the winds of change she’s apparently blowing into the RF is actually quite remarkable. It’s a page of absolute non-fact, non-news, non-novelty. It’s 100% speculation and supposition. Quite remarkably skilled, really.

Meghan will be at the Royal Variety Performance tomorrow evening. No Kate events lined up til the annual diplomatic reception next month. That's usually a gown and tiara occasion but we won't see any photos beyond a car shot.
