AhoyDelBoy · 17/11/2018 22:50

£100 for a babygro Shock

TracyBeakerSoYeah · 17/11/2018 22:50

I read somewhere that the Royal children wear normal clothes when out & about in private, so that they can blend in.
Though don't know how true this is.

AhoyDelBoy · 17/11/2018 22:53

Just had a quick look at Amaia. I couldn’t justify $85 for a little girls dress let alone £85 Shock

QueenOfTheAndals · 17/11/2018 22:55

I've seen off-duty pictures of George where he isn't dressed like the ghost of a boy who died in the Blitz, just ordinary tshirts and shorts or jeans.

Everything Kate dresses Charlotte in; the Queen could have worn 90 years ago.

Could be worse. If 18th century customs of dressing children in miniature adult clothing still prevailed, Charlotte would be in miniature coat-dresses. Shock

QueenOfTheAndals · 17/11/2018 23:04

As would George and Louis - boys and girls were both dressed in frilly gowns until they were about 6!

I think the Wessex kids are the ones dressed as though they were in the forties!

AhoyDelBoy · 18/11/2018 02:52

HAVE WE ALL SEEN THE NEW PHOTOS sorry for yelling but 😍😍😍 they’re great

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 18/11/2018 03:29

Thanks @Ahoydelboy

Louis is just adorable. That baby has the most winning smile and Charles looks great with him. I see Operation Grandpa is well underway....!

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 18/11/2018 03:45

Not going to link as the DM is trying to get a rise re: The Sussexes staffing.
However, it does seem that Meghan and Harry do weekend regularly near Soho Farmhouse in the Cotswolds. Makes perfect sense as Meghan is very in with the Soho House crowd.
They currently have a 2 year rental on the Great Tew Estate. I don’t see that changing any time soon; despite The Queen giving them York Cottage on the Sandringham estate.
I suppose in the long term; Harry will be given HighGrove, as William already has Anmer.
Charles already has so many Houses; Birkhall; Dumfries House; HighGrove; Clarence House.
I totally get that he wants to stay in CH and open up BP for official business only.
So once he becomes King, he also gets Sandringham, which is privately owned by the Queen. Then Windsor Castle & Balmoral. I presume he will start passing on some houses to his family.

Also, other property news. Apartment 1A at KP; next door to Will & Kate has finished its refurbishment. I thought the Gloucesters were going to move out. Now apparently they have “changed their mind”. (The Gloucesters usually take one for the team). So if this is true; it is Meghan & Harry motivated as there is talk The Sussexes want to move to St James Palace....

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 18/11/2018 03:47

Lol @RosinaAlmaviva

AhoyDelBoy · 18/11/2018 03:49

Oh and this corker Shock this is probably why the RF don’t like to be photographed eating as discussed on an earlier thread Grin

The new photos are just the continuing drip feed of PR.

YearOfYouRemember · 18/11/2018 07:30

I enjoyed looking at blog of Princess Charlotte's clothes but wish the person in charge of laundry would iron down the collars!

Clionba · 18/11/2018 07:46

The photo of Charles and Louis is absolutely adorable. That is one great photographer. Compare with the images of George's christening, which were a bit weird.

QueenOfTheAndals · 18/11/2018 07:52

I thought it was Charlotte's christening which was weirdest. Kate pushing that pram up the cobbled street like it was 1948, WTAF?

“QueenoftheAndals” I agree although it made good copy but was very staged in my opinion.

AhoyDelBoy · 18/11/2018 08:34

Agreed Paradyning
Rather than release photos of Louis at 6 months they’ve waited and combined them with PCs 70th so he can be cast as the doting GF.

ElspethFlashman · 18/11/2018 08:34

Megan was obsessed with Soho Farmhouse from the beginning when she first started venturing to the UK. Lots of pics on her Instagram of weekends there with people like Millie Mackintosh.

I know people who rent a weekend cottage in Great Tew and have membership of SF. It costs thousands. Even for each kid. The kids have tennis lessons there every weekend and they're EXTRA. The husband regularly grumbles that its ridiculous but the wife's attitude is that its like public school, the connections you make are worth it.

Apparently the whole world is flocking for membership now that Megan is going to be there all the time.

If you want to have a look there is a posh Insta mum who has membership -
@ultimategirlgang. She's quite funny. They go a lot on the weekends. Honestly from what I've seen on her account I'm not at all sure it's worth it. It's just a posh farm with cocktails. But maybe there are a lot of parties where you can meet new people, I dunno.

AhoyDelBoy · 18/11/2018 08:35

Oh I loved those photos Queen Grin
Such a beautiful pram for a baby princess!

user1457017537 · 18/11/2018 08:38

Soho Farmhouse is definitely about the people who have membership. There is a no photos policy though so I don’t know how long insta mum will have her membership. High profile people go there because of the privacy.
