• The Cambridges and Sussexes are at two Remembrance events this weekend the 10th/11th
• The Sussexes have the Royal Variety Performance on the 19th

Plus Prince Charles turns 70 on the 14th but we may not get photos of the event as he's having a private party.

Anyway which PofW hasn’t had a mistress? Not that I’m saying that’s right obviously! But I should imagine that would have been lots of people’s view.

Let's hope Prince William doesn't hold this view.

@Bloominglovely It might actually be from last season as I got it from a dress agency on eBay for a fraction of that price. I've found several gems on eBay recently. I prefer it as it's a) better for the environment and b) means I can buy stuff I can't always afford brand new. Guess I'm thrifty like Kate!😂

Queen it is really lovely!!! I am short and can’t pull off that style but admire it on other people all the time.

About Kate not condoning affairs, she stood by and waited while he shagged around trying to decide if he wanted to commit or not. I think, now with three young children, he wouldn’t and she would be upset if ihe did, but in twenty years time, if he is discreet then I imagine she will turn a blind eye. But somehow he strikes me as a family man and I do not think he would jeopardize his relationship with the Middletons.

Yes, having seen what his parents went through I doubt he'd stray. He and Kate seem pretty solid.

They broke up so he could sow his wild oats 😀 He just didn’t want to commit. She was heartbroken but stood by. I really don’t think he would follow in his father’s footsteps yet we see only what they want us to see and in twenty years time, like any of us on this thread, who knows if they will still be together.

I think William and Catherine were made for each other. And not just in a throwaway ‘Oh we’re made for each other’ way but really and truly. That might sound mad but I really believe it. I hope they have a long and happy marriage

No it was a real break up. For certain. She referred to it in their engagement interview and said how unhappy she was at the time. It showed a very vulnerable and quite endearing side to her.

I watched the Harry and Meghan thing last night, it was all fairly anodyne I thought apart from one bit

She wasn’t interested. For society girls, the son of a billionaire is much more attractive than a Prince.
If you look round this current generation of Crown Princesses and Young Queens, they are all middle class and professionals.

I think it will be rare to have an aristo marry into a royal family now.
You really need either the skills of a professsional high flyer or the ability to keep your mouth shut and look pretty (old school) to be a royal consort.

There are rumours about his infidelity but no idea how true they are. I think when you’re brought up to know that you’ll be king one day then you probably do think you have the power to do what you like. I always felt a bit sorry for Kate during the pre engagement years. Apparently, she could only work part time for jigsaw because William wanted her to be free to drop everything when he had free time at short notice. She also couldn’t take any job that would be seen as controversial or political in any way. Then the press nicknamed her waity Katy.

Harry was so young when his mum died. They separated when he was 8; he went to boarding school at 8 and so he really would not have had that many years with his mum after that age.

I think being a father will help,so much with his healing.

I really hope he & Meghan are able to have a few children. I guess 2 is the expected amount given her age. But she could possibly pop out 3 or even 4. I could definitely see Harry being the hands on parent. Baby in papoose, toddler in push chair; whilst Meghan does the speeches for women’s rights...

So this was the same day as the global gift gala; where Beatrice wore her sparkly Gucci number. I know Beatrice has tried to go all Frida Kahlo; but plonking a floral Crown on her head looks a bit tragic.

Eugenie’s outfit makes me a bit hopeful that she went to work that day....

The Virgin thing was an antiquated idea that any child born was actually his.
So hypocritical, because his own sister; Princess Anne had plenty of “admirers” and that was back in the 70s

What I remember reading at the time, it was because of concern that former boyfriends could go public with information about past involvements, which would be very unseemly for a Princess of Wales. So they had to find someone who "did not have a past" as was the phrase used at the time.

I remember when W&K split up. She was then pictured in the press falling out of nightclubs and generally having a great time. Perhaps she employed a bit of the old showing him what he was missing out on and it worked!

‘Did not have a past’ . Well I’m glad things have moved on from that now. Although I’m sure Kate wasn’t sleeping with the whole rowing team pre-William either. I’m surprised nothing has come out of the woodwork about any past relationships of W&K or H&M or maybe I’ve just missed it.
