Hello you lovely lot

I have no heels and no social life. I quite like it that way tbh.

Well, no longer have the career, the heels OR the social life and am clearly in denial that retirement is only about 10 months away. len I tried on the sea salt Janelle today and I think that might be my sensible coat. I tried puffas in Hobbs, JL own brand, Joules, Boden, oasis and FFace. they were all very stiff and heavy or had ridiculous hoods. Last year I had the uniqlo stretch one - super lightweight and warm. It’s too big this year but it really wasn’t robust fabric wise. Covered in catches just from bags, seatbelt etc, so it’s really not fit for anything but dog walking. Given I hope this years will fit me next year, I want something more robust. The sea salt one is a similar price AND it’s waterproof.

len Do you like the Hush puffa?.. impatiently waiting for it to arrive I still have the LL charcoal tank on back order.. thats still 6/7 weeks quoted FFS

Jigsaw jumper is nice , but I wanted grey , so hoping the Meryl is good.. .. if it is I may look at the pink later on.. esp if there is a ruddy code!! ( Hush really are not being very generous with their codes any more) ..

I know. I might have been tempted but nope. I have spent enough. Never said but I did buy the sabrina cardigan in charcoal I had buyers guilt so kept it to myself.

Its beautiful and soft btw like my cashmere jumper.

Laska I do like the hush puffa but do already have a short puffa am after a long warm everyday coat, as my knees get so cold if your a bit bored feel free to do some ‘Research’, also not keen on red or black colourwise.

He's already seen it never! it was a slight surprise for him as he got off the boat ,but he loved it ..!

Hmm .cherries I thought it was thicker .. Maybe I am wrong , the citron we tried and I bought was thin ..but yes ,looking now i see that its not advertised as winter weight on seasalt website .

I wear layers under coats usually.. so hoping it will be ok if not ill send it back then,, ..( but of course we are so much near the equator than you !! ..)

If you like the marsden snow boots on the hush website, the marks ones are great dupes posted above.

len go to the JL site and filter under type of coats “puffer” and “cocoon” and you’ll see lots including some bright Joules ones on offer. I thought this one from warehouse was quite wow

That is a gorgeous padded coat Soyo. Did you get it in the red or the grey. Its lovely in both colours. I am not buying as i have two parkas and dont need any more.

never it’s lovely no? I was only helping with “research” and spotted it for len but should have linked the grey version as len said no red or black.
I think it’s lovely and I’m no fan of padded coats but this one ☝️ mmmmm
