Ha ha Huff -me too.. I have more than enough knitwear but I am always searching for that one elusive 'perfect' jumper! Have never found it yet.,
Having said that I do find H&M knitwear pretty good quality for the price.

@miffy2 I think you're better off with a medium or small than a large then. I normally have to size up with H&M and this was definitely a size down situation. Agree it's all about getting the right slouch though 👌

miffy2 · 08/11/2018 21:28

I am all about the jumpers, too! In fairness we get good wear out of them in this part of the world :)

Ella I know what you mean about the bulkiness. It is hard to find a good quality jumper that is both slouchy, comfy but yet not too bulky.

I am in fact in love with an All Saints cashmere sweater that ticks all the boxes and there is 20% off at the moment. I was thinking I could get it for DH to give to me for Christmas ('Surprise!') but I am also convinced there will be a dozen more things I would prefer between now and then, so I will hold fire for now.

Huffthepuff · 08/11/2018 21:32

@Ellapaella they are nailing the knitwear at the moment. And I do think their quality stands the test of time. I got a giant slouchy taupe cardigan back when I lived at home with a big H&M nearby. Must be 19 years old at least and it still looks just fine. Unlike my gorgeous Zara wool oversized cardigan I bought last winter which has bobbled so badly, was expensive(ish) and now looks tatty 😡

Ellapaella · 08/11/2018 21:42

Miffy All Saints knitwear is really good quality (I have two lovely jumpers) but I wouldn't pay full price as they do knock it down considerably in January so I'd hold off for a sale for sure.

Huff I hate it when that happens.. I have a gorgeous oversized charcoal grey cardigan that I got last winter - it's the perfect style and colour but it's bobbled like crazy so I can only really wear it round the house as lounge wear now. It's not like you can really return it once it's bobbled either as it's usually after the 28 days and once it's had it's first wash 😖

Hi Miffy2! Don't want to add to the jumper confusion, but someone earlier in the thread ( len?) pointed out a peacocks pink roll/ cowl neck here. I had a quick look when I was passing yesterday and it looks lovely. BUT I AM NOT BUYING ANY MORE JUMPERS. I think the Meryl I've just got has made it 11 this year... To be fair, I have needed them all as loads of others "died" last winter, but still...

Having said that, that h and m teal one is such a gorgeous colour....

Ellapaella · 08/11/2018 21:58

Not that I'm trying to enable you all or anything but those who have the grey leopard or zebra leggings, the teal jumper will be perfect with them 👌
