I keep getting the Meryl jumper popping up in my adverts, and it is lovely lovely lovely. I really want to try it, but it is so expensive, and I do have enough jumpers, really ( no slouchy roll neck ones though ). I would really want it to have more wool for the £££ too. Would love to know what you think of it though @Laska (hello, by the way - I've been lurking for ages and delurked yesterday. Your pink hair is fab ).

The safety pin idea is magic @never. Like a lightening rod for clothes . I'm definitely trying that. Much better than splashing down clothes with water and looking like you've been caught in a freak rainstorm. Tumble dryer sheets are also good for removing static, but I only ever get attacked by my clothes when out and about and not in easy reach of a convenient tumble dryer!

I did look pretty much everywhere else this morning , and in the end couldn't find anything i liked as much..

H&M have a dupe though ,I wasn't convinced it would be long enough for what i wanted...so in the end 'justified' the Hush one once again to myself!

Lol . (Sheep is fine. Or Not...). That H&M one is good, but I agree, it is a bit short. And what is going on with the sleeves?! I know the meryl ones are big, but the H&M ons are a whole new level. The Pure one is gorgeous, though sits on credit card (and the walnut one is "only" £90). I've been a victim of enabling before, even for things i didn't know I wanted... But, hey - I have will power. I'm not cracking on this until the end of the month

I've brought out my sequins today. A stripey sweatshirt with a big silver sequin star. From Maison Sainsburys. Classy, me.

Well, could easily have spent 1.5K on half a dozen perfect coats. . I’m delighted to say my is intact and was so unable to choose just one when so many were calling ‘take me’, that all I bought was a pair of falke socks. The coats are weeping like Nobody’s Child. I am now safely back at central station and I shall sit on train feeling virtuous.

All the coats were suitable for either the high flying life I used to have, or the aspirational life I dream of (which would involve a) a social life and b) high heels. Must learn to live with current reality.

Well me neither :( It is bitterly cold today - went to the post office with a parcel. Its beautiful though. Lovely day for clothes shopping @cherries.
Pity the coats didn't fit your lifestyle. I had on my olive hush coat from last year. Its such a beautiful coat.

H & M have another dupe for the Meryl jumper, the one linked isn't the one I saw in store yesterday, the one I saw wasn't robbed and was charcoal grey. It was too itchy for me.
I think my Hush parcel may have been delivered but I'm aw work so won't get to try until later.

A review saying its too short though. Gorgeous in the pink.

If I bought the meryl jumper it would have to be in the pink I think.

Tbh, Im not sure about the sleeves on the meryl. They are quite big.

cherries did you see any good puffa coats? I have decided against the boden one, as reviews said it’s heavy. Been having a look online but haven’t really seen anything that grabs me much.
Lol at the nobody’s child reference, my Dh always sings this for my aunt at family party’s she loves that song, despite it being so depressing.
I never had a high flying life either, have the heels but no social life😳
