I do think that Diana's death caused The Royal Family to assemble themselves and support the boys, before that both W and H have said that time with their family was always cut short on both sides by custody arrangements

The absence of shared custody probably led to strengthening of bonds so it's unsurprising that H sees his family as close, plus their friends can't relate in the same way re being royal

I wondered if Meghan's swift exit could be due to lots of mosquitoes in the market - perhaps that's why she went for quite a covering dress as well.

The risks include birth defects. They must be confident that she won't get bitten!

Is she ok? I thought when I read about her exit from the market that she was feeling nauseous though they said it was a crowd security thing? I just supposed it was easier to say that than say the noise/smells of the market wAete making her feel ill. Has more happened?

It’s strange re the Zika virus. Birth defects are well documented. How can they be sure that everything will be ok? Seems risky when so much of their life is planned and the level of protection they enjoy.

I thought Megan looked a bit pale beneath her make up at the market - and although she was smiling, it seemed to be the kind of pasted on smile rather than her usual one. But what do I know! :)

This thread has now got me lusting after Kate's Penelope Chilvers boots again - this happens every year. I always end up googling dupes, the ones on the spanish websites and then realising at 5 foot 2 they'd be too tall and probably too narrow of calf as well! Sigh.

From the clips of the market it did look chaotic and there didn't seem to be any order which is what her previous engagements have been like.

I imagine a combination of heat, and all those people would have been overwhelming she may have felt unwell she may have just been uncomfortable the official line now is 'cross control issues' and I'm sure that is all we will hear. I see Sam m is not happy about her speech either not been a great day for Meghan.

In news that I'm sure will cheer her up though in the market pictures I don't hate her dress as much as I thought I did it looks like it is silk which I didn't see and apart from the Pom poms definitely not as bad as I thought! Sure she's glad to know that

I have to admit, although usually a love of colour, Meg's understated style has prompted me to have a wardrobe sort out. I've decided I shall take inspiration from our Royals and try and look a bit more put together. I actually like that Meghan's hair is often quite relaxed though, it softens her 'business' style dress I think...

Well Kate is a fan so sure she's recommend it and I want to get in early

That dress looks very pretty from the front, much better than the other photos I've seen. The pompoms don't look over the top once you see the different hem lengths.

Hopefully Megan is just feeling the heat and the crowds - I had a few little funny turns when it was very hot when I was at about that stage of pregnancy, but it was nothing serious. Maybe she just needs a day or so with her feet up - their schedule is crazy busy, even for someone who isn't gestating a whole flipping human being!

Ooh that photo puts a whole different spin on it. It’s still not my nor favourite dress of all time, but I think I like it a bit more now we’ve seen a decent photo of it. I agree I like it better knowni know it’s silk- it appeared much more sheer on the video I saw!

Loving the pink dress from Max today but not so keen on the hat. Even less keen on Sophie’s hat which is a shame as I think she looked lovely last night (from what little we saw!!).

For a break from Max and Megs, here's CP Mary in a very snazzy coat. It's Prada so alas forever out of my budget! And her hairdo is most Marklesque.

CP Mary looks incredible. Agree that Marie’s dress looks a bit big or perhaps just not the right shape for her. That tiara is impressive though!!

Not sure I like the colour of Queen Margrethe’s dress on her. I don’t dislike it as a dress, just not her colour. Glad someone decided to bring some colour though!

Agree @paradyning the fit it a bit off - I don't love the way the skirt is hanging on her.
