Andrew Morton wrote a book about Meghan, as pp have said. "Hollywood Princess". I've not read it, has anyone?
I read it when it was first released and thought it was pretty good considering:
- Andrew Morton had obviously been working to a pretty tight deadline (in fact it reminded me of Rita Skeeter writing The Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore in 6 weeks or whatever it was).
- He clearly didn't have much access to anyone currently close to Meghan.
The book portrays Meghan as talented, driven, hard-working, highly ambitious with a relentlessly positive attitude and yes, something of a social climber. However, that's ideal for a modern-day princess - if she values her privilege and her platform it will go some way to compensate her for the loss of privacy and self-determination.
Interestingly enough, Morton states that Meghan read his Diana biography in the 90s - if only she'd known that one day he would turn his attention to her...
