She looks gorgeous in that photo, though perhaps highlighter and blush is to her what the heavy eyeliner was to Kate.

I do love it. But - & I hate to say this. Do you think she's slightly overdressed for the occasion?

It is incredible to think they were in Tonga this morning, had an aborted landing and she can show up at an evening do in another country looking like that!

Oh I love, love, love the de la Renta. I don't think you can overdress if you're a Royal, it's kind of in the job description.

That dress is really beautiful. The shoes are good, too. Slingbacks are a lighter look with the tulle skirt.

Having spoken about Jackie Kennedy up thread, it would appear that Oscar de la Renta was one of her favourite designers

Just scrolled through the RTW collection Meghan has worn his White Blue bedspread dress to a wedding in June. However his shorter; plainer tailored clothes would suit her very well.

Can't spot Meghan's exact dress, but based on the other evening dresses i reckon it's about £7,000 (!)

That dress is amazing. I think she is incredible - that punishing tour without being pregnant would bring anyone to their knees. Outfits which I am not keen on she still looks great.

Even in that market the other day - crowd control, nausea or whatever the reason - she still smiled. And I think her and him look astoundingly happy.

And as for her father and famile - they really need to bugger off.

Are we to assume that in one way or another the UK taxpayer is forking out for this and all the others?

I love her! Keeps smiling and is doing stuff during her pregnancy. I like the little mistakes, somehow, and the fact she is changing her clothes a bit to accommodate her changing shape, and her hair for the humidity, etc.

Hope she stays real. They seem very in love.

The Oscar collection is stunning. I do notice lots of high necks. I also noticed the dress Laura Bush wore to her daughter's recent wedding and Queen Max's London day dress (the pink embellished one).

I really like the top of the evening dress - skirt part is a bit too full though.

Meghan will be used to 10-12 hours a day on set so she's used to picking up the pace when she needs to.
