I got an Alex Monroe bee for Xmas last year. I just love it. Apparently DH had been convinced I wouldn’t like it but dd convinced him she knew my taste :)

I also searched Primark this afternoon (probably passed Ella at some point!) but they didn’t seem to have any vests as all.

@ilovecherries I was with two friends.. we had a good hunt round Primark and JL then went to Fenwick's.. didn't buy anything except my scarf and a nice blouse in an autumn rust colour but was lusting after a lot. I thought the Hush collection in JL looked fabulous.
'Coffee' in Fenwick's turned into two large glasses of Sauvignon!

Think i might take a wee trip into Glasgow and have a little browse around JL maybe next weekend. I would quite like to see the hush collection in RL.

We had to come home early actually, plan had been cinema and dinner but I suddenly started to feel really unwell - shivery and achey and a bit sick. Not sure if it’s my flu jab or not - had it on Thursday and I’m not usually up or down but did feel unwell. Might just be coincidence. Now lying on sofa with heating cranked up, fuzzy jammies and dog cuddled into me and feeling fragile but much better.

Sorry to hear that cherries. It was so so busy in Newcastle today. It was actually so cold outside but crazy hot and stuffy in all the shops and in Eldon Square.
It was all a bit overwhelming to be honest, at one point walking through Eldon square I felt a little lightheaded with the heat and crowds.
Nice to be back home in your PJ's and hope you feel better soon.

A nice hot mug of something and PJ's and curled up on the sofa sounds just the thing @cherries. Hope you continue to feel better.
@Ella, sounds like Xmas shopping has already started. The shops are getting stocked up with it. That and halloween!

As for me well i picked my dc up from their club and off to Asda. Bought them all winter jackets [£66 for 3 jackets - not bad] Thank goodness they dont care about brands - yet!

It’s the annual Glastonbury ticket drama in the morning. I feel sick and there no wine in the flat. I’m too old for this!

Thread is moving so fast! Lovely to see some new faces too.
My snake print marina arrived, keeper ❤️
The velvet pleated skirt was sewn a bit skew wiff on the seam which meant it didn't hang properly so I've sent it back.
I don't think I'll re order, it's lovely but I'll not get much use out of it.

Everyone is looking gorgeous in their stuff, love the star flick tee with the marina.

Yy @ilovecherries to trying tunic with skinnies. You'll look fab.

Oh god@EachandEveryone we too shall be trying for Glastonbury tickets in the morning. It's so stressful!!!! It's a very special place for our family, we go en masses and have an enormous spread sheet of reg numbers.

My impulse / late night / no sale on the horizon purchase from the end of the last thread arrived today and it's a bit of a mixed bag.

• black jumpsuit - LOVE this and will be keeping despite the fact it's quite light and I'll freeze if I wear it outside in this weather.

• navy blue cords - great colour and very comfy...but I think they're too short on me? Also the cord is quite thick - I think I'd get similar elsewhere for cheaper so they're going back.

• burgundy Tara roll neck - this was my reason for the whole order...and it's meh. Will be going back. I think I'd like it better if it was knitted.

• grey cashmere arm warmers - massive and I will find annoying so also going back

• wooden hoop earrings - LOVE these and they are the perfect length for my hair (just as well as I probably couldn't return them anyway)

Tsk! Not only have I now decided to go and spend Monday looking in Cos in Leeds (a shop which never really pulled me in before, but now seeing this all here, I desperately want to go in), but you’ve also got me looking at Alex Monroe jewellery and I’ve seen that John Lewis stock it...

HL I love the jumpsuit and the earrings!!!! I'm too lumpy and bumpy for a jumpsuit but I might have to get the earrings!
