cherries it does look rather roomy tbh, but try it with leggings and then decide whether a 10 is needed to compare?

neveradullmoment99 · 06/10/2018 11:55

Ah...typical I missed it. May just wait around for another code but thanks!

Ellapaella · 06/10/2018 12:12

I think that coated leggings or leather skinny trousers would work beautifully with the tunics.

neveradullmoment99 · 06/10/2018 12:18

I definitely think so too @Ella :)

dontcallmelen · 06/10/2018 14:00

waves to Fuzzy you will get brilliant advice on here & everyone very supportive, beware the enabling 😂

dontcallmelen · 06/10/2018 14:07

cherries just chiming in with my agreement of pp, definitely try the jumpers with skinny bottoms, also agree that loose tops always seem to look better with slim bottom half silhouette, also maybe a smaller size might look better.

Another ebay qu! Is there a rule of thumb for pricing things that are BNWT for BIN? I’ve had such an annoying run of NPB and ludicrous offers that I was thinking about trying BIN. I’ve searched completed auctions but haven’t found it very helpful. Mostly Boden, Pure Collection, the odd Hush thing. And another rule of thumb for rarely worn/as new condition? I want to be realistic, but not be taking a lot less than I could. The last time I tried BIN a year ago, I sold all 20 items within 90 minutes of listing, so I’m guessing I was far too low that time!

Cherries my Joules Lilly tops are a 12 . but I do like them best with skinnies

I think may be difference cherries could be that I may be broader across the shoulder than you ? . You are taller than me , and a few pounds thinner but i think have slightly more in the nork department from what you said (im 36e) .. But the Joules 10was definitely too small on me I thought

Laska5772 · 06/10/2018 15:26

I missed the 25% Joules code also! had already bought and worn the navy a couple of days before (grr) !! but the first two i got 15% off..

missfliss · 06/10/2018 16:35

Red flocked tee - am keeping, it looks nice with my leather leggings (wine colour from Baukjen last year)

and black flock tee - also keeping, will be good with zebra leggings, and jeans and black blazer.

I really love the snakeprint marina skirt too - the black has been incredibly useful and this one is lovely - it has a little shimmer in some parts that really add to it

I think that’s interesting, Laska. Have always thought of myself as ‘big built’. I was taller than all my peers in school etc, then I’ve been very heavy since I was 30ish, plus had size 8 feet. My perception of myself hasn’t changed as the weight came off. But although I still have those massive K cup boobs, they are now stuck on the front of a 32 frame, which isn’t that big. My husband described me yesterday as ‘quite slight’ from the back. And my feet are now a size 7. I took my rings into be adjusted the other day and the jeweller commented on me have ‘delicate hands’. I still think of myself as ‘sturdy’ at best and a bit of a heifer at worst.

I got my Yasmin skirt yesterday and I thoroughly recommend it - provided you are 5’7 or above or are a regular wearer of heels/prepared to do some hemming if not. It’s not a flimsy material but does have an attached half-slip anyway and the side slits come to about the top of my kneecaps (which is a definite improvement on wearability over the dress). It comes up big and I wish I had known that before ordering as I would have gone down a size but given the 10 has now sold out and there’s no current 10% off code, I’ll happily stick with the 12. The pattern is a little disappointing compared to all the fabulous print versions of the dress so far (it says black/metallic silver in the description - you practically need a magnifying glass to see the silver) but hopefully it’ll be a sucess for them and enter their repertoire of repeats in different fabrics/prints. Major plus point; I tried it with six pairs of boots and three pairs of trainers - it looked good with all of them.

Anyway, photos attached are with silver sequin chucks, classic 1460 DMs and high heel boots, just to give and idea of versatility footwear-wise.

I really do need a 14 in coats and still did when only 10st , I dont think my shoulders are huge btw (and no one has ever said they were) but yes, I bet if we stood side by side and viewed from the back id look broader there than you ..

Laska5772 · 06/10/2018 17:06

Talisin I hadn't really clocked that skirt before, but it does look good on you but s a bit difficult yo see the pattern from your photos.. ill go and look on the website..

MissFliss love the Ts on you and the skirt. keep. yu loo fab in all.

Talisin · 06/10/2018 17:22

Laska it’s little insects. The red shows up well but the silver (antenna and another blob on the body) hardly at all unless you practically have your nose on it. Close up attached.

@missfliss love your pictures. The marina skirt is so gorgeous in particular. You are so pretty ❤️ Can I also say I love your bee pendant. Is it Alex Monroe?
@Talisin the skirt looks lovely.
@Laska5772 I did a Primark haul today - couldn't find the grey vest but admittedly we have 4 floors in Newcastle so it can be hard to hunt things down!
Very pleased with my animal print grey scarf though. £6 and super soft and very cosy.

I'm so impressed with people posting pictures of themselves (and you all look fabulous).

neveradullmoment99 · 06/10/2018 18:25

I have a bee pendant very similar that i got from Amazon. It was a gift from my children and was fairly inexpensive [hush prices] I have had so many compliments wearing it. I do love Alex Monroe, but its just so expensive. I especially love his dragonfly earrings in gold. If i can find the pendant @Ella, i will link it for you.
I love your scarf Ella. Love all of the pictures above. I have the skirt missfliss and i love it!
The bee skirt is also beautiful Talisan. Think we have a bee theme today!!!

neveradullmoment99 · 06/10/2018 18:25

Fuzzy, i really think when people post the actual clothes it really helps style things and you see it on a real person!

FuzzyCustard · 06/10/2018 18:30

It does Never. It really does!
