Surely the Queen is just on her normal Balmoral break, which is why she hasn’t been seen doing engagements recently?

Nicola and Theresa have both been to stay at Balmoral recently. And HM usually has some Scottish engagements while she's there.

I thought her Balmoral break was just over the summer, I didn't realise it carried over to October.

Meghan : hmm. Great coat, great top, don't like the skirt though. It looks cheap. I'm sure it's not but it looks like pleather (shudder). The hair looks lovely.

Lady Saoirse Herbert looks like a cross between Beatrice and Eugenie....

Here's a photo of Lord Porchester but apart from being heavyset I can't see any particular resemblance to Andrew.

They're both heavyset and jowly but that's about it as far as I can see. I don't think Andrew looks like the DoE but there's lots of people who don't look like their parents and may resemble some random person instead!

And I stand by my earlier comment that Prince Andrew looks a lot like his grandmother, Princess Alice of Battenberg. Eugenie has a look of her too.

Actually I think you're right @SenecaFalls, Andrew does take after Alice of Battenberg. I can't see a likeness between Alice and Eugenie, though Eugenie resembles Andrew. Beatrice has Fergie's colouring but looks uncannily like Queen Victoria!

Actually I meant to say that Beatrice looks like Princess Alice. I think that as Anne gets older she looks more like Queen Mary and so does the Queen.

As Anne ages, she's turning into her great-grandmother Mary of Teck.

Prince Andrew is named for Prince Philip’s father. I can’t see her doing that if Porchester is PAs dad.

Thank goodness William and Harry brought in new genes to the family!

So did Charles and his siblings to be fair, but it seems to take a couple of generations to breed out the Hanoverian/Windsor looks!

I thought some of the older generation had married titles?
