I think that's the most fashion-forward thing I've ever seen on Kate! Nice to see her taking a bit of a risk and not playing it safe. I love the burgundy velvet pumps - so glad she didn't go with her usual nude shoe!

Re Eugenie's wedding, I'm not sure if ITV is televising the actual ceremony, but it's going to be live streamed on the royal family and DoY's YouTube channels.

Love her changing up her style, she should be more glam in the evenings. I think burgundy is a gorgeous color. The dress is unusual but fun, I like how flirty it is.

I like the shape of the dress and it certainly suits her,but hate the check (Prince of Wales- subtle nod to the fil, perhaps?)

It's a dress I would've expected more from Meghan but maybe they're trading style tips!

She just looks amazingly confident and happy in her skin. Maybe having meghan as a friend next door has been good for her. This is a departure from her usual style and nice to see her doing something different.

I can’t see Kate and Megan having much in common if I’m honest.

They're both into fitness and healthy eating.
They're both "outsiders".
Both have strong relationships with their mums.
They both like dogs.

Cant see dress well as I'm on my phone. Sillouhette is great on her. Colour a little Drab. One thing; Kate has always done good evening wear. ( apart from the Erdem mustard horror she wore in Norway).
To pp, I can't see why Kate & Meghan wouldn't be friends. They're the same age. Both married into a lifestyle incomprehensible to most people. Diana & Fergie were very good friends too; for many years. It was Diana who had form for falling out with people.
I think.when the truth comes out, after they're all dead, I think history will be kind to Fergie.

I suspect Meghan and Kate will become sister-like. I doubt they would be friends in another world but they have enough in common, not least the unique craziness that is their lives, that I think that will bond them. They are unlikely to be popping out for drinks regularly but I don't think that's a problem. I believe they will become a very important support structure for each other though.

Kate has a close and supportive family, not just her mother. She obviously is very family minded. Megan sees herself as a humanitarian and is political. Kate never really worked. Megan was a jobbing actress with a lifestyle blog and endorsements. Apart from their husbands I don’t think they have anything in common.

I'd love Kate and Meghan to be good friends, it would likely be beneficial to both of them. Also it's just nice to get on with family, if you can possibly manage it.

I have always found Fergie quite tacky both pre and post divorce. She always seemed quite entitled and greedy.
