I’d heard about the beard thing also years ago. But I’d also heard that it wasn’t Edward that was gay but Andrew & that Fergie has walked in on him with a man & that was the real reason the marriage broke down. Who knows??

So, after dissing the York including the Princesses, my opinion of them has improved. They've included all of the Royal grandchildren in their line-up, with Sophie and Edward's DC (both of that awkward age) as special attendants. Gold star for that one.

Bet they'll sleep better knowing they've got my approval!

And Robbie's daughter! First time I've seen Lady Louise surnamed Mountbatten-Windsor too.

Well I have only read on blind gossip which is the biggest royal story newspaper editors have never published. And it was actually Andrew who is gay. Apparently he was well thought of in the Navy.
Also would explain why a) Fergie had affairs and b) why she & Andrew coparent so well. She's often referred to him as "my best friend".

Will be nice to see all HM's great grandchildren in the photos. Charlotte is an old pro now! It's not news; but now confirmed; I am intrigued by the Robbie Williams connection.

The dresses are going to be pretty fashionable I think. But given the strict dress code (hats for ladies) old Stephen Jones must be working overtime....

The gossip I heard at the time was that it was Princess Margaret's son (can't recall his name) who enjoyed favours from male staff.

A friend of a friend was a royal protection officer and once, when drunk, told my friend that one of HM's children was gay "but not the one everyone thinks".

Anyway, none of our business really (just in case someone descends on the thread to admonish us!) but if it's true then it's sad that they feel they have to hide, in this day and age.
