Just returned from my hols and enjoyed a good mooch around duty free. I bought a bottle of Daisy as it’s a good office scent. Also got a bottle of the new Narciso Rouge which is absolutely gorgeous. Still smells quite powdery like the other scents but it seems stronger and definitely a nighttime scent

BookMeOnTheSudExpress · 30/09/2018 13:31

Nobody bid on it but it's relisted. I have emailed and asked for postage to furrin as the seller says they will if asked nicely.

I am in Opium again as it's just perfection and my cardy still smelt of it from yesterday!

SotE Opium. (Baa) Grin

I have one of those Avon demonstrators, but from around 1971 I think (judging by release dates - some of the perfumes are different).

I'm still in Opium and my utter philistine of a handsome swain said 'have you gone overboard on the mozzie spray" humph.

SOTD NRFH. I bought this the week we moved into our house, so I always think on it as my “new house smell”,even though this is my second bottle, and we’ve lived her for three years.

MrStarkIDontFeelSoGood · 30/09/2018 23:20

Can someone tell me what this perfume is, I think I'm going mad as I'm on 4160 and can't find it.

It was described on a thread as being like a fairground with the smell of cigarettes and I think toffee apples

I thought it was Killer Rose but the description doesn't match at all

What I Did On My Holidays sounds close but I'm convinced that wasn't it. I can't find the post, I tried Sad

MrsLucas · 30/09/2018 23:50

Not sure MrStark. The Great Randello is tobacco and pudding. L'Artisan's Dzing has toffee apple (at the circus), and ELd'O's La Fin du Monde smells of the fairground (and popcorn).

I think it was being spoken about as a new or special edition fragrance

I'm going to bed now but thanks for your help xx

Freezing! SotD is a very cosy Absolute Amber (thank you lovely Perfumista if you're still out there).

Not London 1955 (candyfloss) or Time to Draw the Raffle Numbers (croissant and hot tarmac). Sounds possible it's new a special edition; Pest might know?

I really want to like samsara. I like it on first spray but its too sweet when it develops for me, i find it sickly

Calmanddance · 01/10/2018 07:38

MrStark, it sounds like The Great Randello to me.

I’m at Menorca airport waiting for a flight to come home. I’m so tired of wearing Eau de Insect Repellent (sadly perfume was attracting biting creatures). I’ve had a lovely time with the testers. I ended up with three strips (mouillettes): Terre D’Hermes Eau Intense Vetiver (lovely but too strong for me); Chloé Love Story (very pretty but wrong time of year; YSL Manifesto Elixir (beautiful gourmand - may need to get a decant). Then I had a spray of Shalimar Soufflé (wanted to love it but didn’t) on my left arm and EL Knowing (this was my favourite) on my right arm.
