We walked miles in the pouring rain and Dryad held up well. Now on the sofa in pyjamas with tea and toast. Think this evening will be a hot bath and something like good old CVC...

SOTD Byredo Gypsy Water. Love a Sunday night knowing it’s a holiday in the morning, and we just had an amazing roast, like a baby Christmas dinner.

Barracker, have you tried 4160’s “Over the Chocolate Shop? I have a sample of it. It is very chocolatey indeed, like someone has been heating up dark chocolate in a vat and it’s become slightly over-cooked along the edges. There’s coffee, hazel and vanilla in there too, but I get hardly any of those. For me, it’s not as good as Silk, Lace and Chocolate, of which I have a full bottle. 😃 If you like, I can send you the remains of my Over the Chocolate Shop and a tester of the Silk, Lace and Chocolate? Comparing vintage Cabochard with various other things today.

Blimeyheck it's good.

Soapy and skanky. Reading around the blogosphere and see it's oft compared to Bandit. Which I might dig out tomorrow for comparison.

Just giving vintage Azuree a whirl. Similar smokey/soapy vibe to Cabochard but more dry vetiver, plus a bit herbier (sage/artemisia).

I’m in a sample of the( dreadfully named!) Terry de Gunzberg ‘Terryfic Oud’ tonight.

Oud can go either way for me, but this is very nice. Quite a Westernised interpretation of oud, light and a bit smoky, and I’m getting lots of iris and rose and a honeyed, ambery gorgeousness that’s making me feel a bit sleepy.

SOTD MH Rose Silence. Lovely lunch with my friend and then a wee wander round d the shops.

SOTD is Au Coeur De Desert. Swoon.

SOTD is Papillon Dryad, for a long wet Sunday walk in the woods. A rich, dry, herbal chypre; powerful stuff and a future classic, imo.

I always forget how powerful it is, I oversprayed on Friday and it was intoxicating in the car to work. My poor officemates!
