Fennel - you are going to have to give us that Top Ten now!

I've had a go at mine but am not feeling very decisive:

White Queen
The Great Randello
Rome 1963
Shazam!
Who Knew
Paris 1948
Babylon Sunset
Eau my Soul
Parallel
Midnight in the Palace Garden

It's not easy, MrsL! I don't think I can do a Top Ten but I can do my ten faves in alphabetical order swiped from the site Grin...

Another Kiss by the Fireside
Bodhi Language
Captured by Candlelight
Creamy Vanilla Crumble
Ealing Green
Eau My Soul
Rhubarb & Citrus
Rhubarb & Custard
Rome 1963
The Dark Heart of Old Havana

Hmm, SOTW is tempting...but I think I've blown my perfume budget this month!

3TresTrois · 05/10/2018 17:32

YSL Manifesto L’Elixir today. My happy place Grin.

Might change into Sex Goddess after dinner (although I’m a spotty, cranky, pre-menstrual mess at the moment, so definitely wont be sexy or Goddess-like when I’m mainlining apple crumble in front of the telly tonight ).

My 4160 faves (in no particular order):

Doe in the Snow
Midnight in the Palace Garden
Sexiest Scent
Tart’s Knicker Drawer
Tokyo Spring Blossom
Sunshine & Pancakes
Centrepiece
Ealing Green
...and Sex Goddess has definitely joined the list!

BookMeOnTheSudExpress · 05/10/2018 17:50

I've been in Vent Vert today.

My 4160 list is:
Ealing Green
London 1969

Grin

Ooh, I'm very tempted to try a blind buy of Captured By Candlelight since it's half price.

SOTD Tom Ford Noir Extreme. Usually reserved for weekends but I knew it would be a rubbish day at work, and this made it much better.

MrsSchadenfreude · 05/10/2018 19:20

My favourite 4160s:

Old Sport
Inevitable Crimes of Passion
Goodbye Piccadilly
What I did on my holidays
The Lion Cupboard
Maxed Out

MrsSchadenfreude · 05/10/2018 19:22

May go for Captured by Candlelight as I haven’t tried that one. I did love Old Sport, but so did DH and I think it has made its way into his cupboard!

Judydreamsofhorses · 05/10/2018 20:31

SOTD Black Opium.

I am the odd one on this thread as most 4160 scents just don’t do it for me. The only one I like is WIDOMH. Sorry!

BookMeOnTheSudExpress · 05/10/2018 20:35

I only really love those 2, Judy, and like well enough Rhubarb/Citrus, Sunshine and Pancakes..but neither enough for more than a half price 9ml.

namastayinbed · 05/10/2018 21:15

Ordered Captured by Candlelight - love the sound of Lemon Sherbet and Rhubarb but will have wait until they turn up on half price week!

As well as Next Nude (which doesn't work or last on me), I also have DKNY Be Delicious Fresh Blossom which I like in Springtime, but feels a bit zingy for Autumn, and is a bit fruity for me.

Black Opium is on my Christmas list, too.

MrsLucas · 05/10/2018 22:38

Should've included Be Careful What You Wish For.

I'm not au fait with all the 4160s yet but I got the Love sample pack and bought a full bottle of Silk, Lace and Chocolate off the back of that.

I got a sample of London, 1969 and I can see myself getting a full bottle of that

MrStarkIDontFeelSoGood · 05/10/2018 22:54

Or rather Silk, Lace, and Chocolate was bought FOR me Grin

Silk, Lace and Chocolate is a gourmand too far for me. I feel as if I've overdosed on all the soft-centre Quality Streets when I wear it.

Sarah's latest crowdfunding is up in Indiegogo for anyone who fancies a punt. Two new fragrances - Take Me To The River and Wash Me In The Water (named after one of my favourite Talking Heads songs!)

However I tried to buy both 9mls last night and it wouldn't accept my payment. I think I might have just been too late - ie. someone else bought the last available 2 x 9mls just before me Sad. Probably saved me from myself, though.

MrsLucas · 06/10/2018 09:48

Fennel - there's a second release up now.

UnnecessaryFennel · 06/10/2018 10:37

Argh, no I can't MrsL I really can't.

Well, maybe just a peek...

SOTD is vintage 7e sens by Sonia Rykiel. Wowsers. This is filthy. I'd forgotten quite how animalic it is.

Dunno what my hairdresser is going to think 🤣🤣

cloud1183 · 06/10/2018 11:33

SOTD Jo Malone mimosa and cardamom. Gorgeous scent but doesn’t last long so I make sure I spray it on my clothes too and it lasts all day then

BookMeOnTheSudExpress · 06/10/2018 11:59

Love those songs too. And the whole album.

SoTD vintage Obsession. OMFG. It's like time travel. The gamechanger to end all gamechangers.

Sud I need some vintage Obsession - the current stuff is pallid. Was it the first big modern chord? Always think of Dune in a similar way, although even more but other wordly.
