Could you please tell me what you think of this dress and whether it looks big on me? Many thanks!

And this sort of hairdo would be perfect with the 60s vibe of outfit

Your unlikely to be a 32A, you need to measure and use the better bra campaign to work out your size.

gilmoregal · 29/09/2018 22:48

376 looks lovely, and I agree with such a high neck hair up will look best and be comfortable if it's hot as you said.

Have a fab time!

MassDebate · 30/09/2018 08:21

Definitely 376, with the shoes from 374 😉

IamAporcupine · 01/10/2018 00:21

I am very confused! I thought everyone would say #375?!

Again, not the best picture, but it actually looks quite good on, and I have kept it. I still feel #376 is more me and I think that's what I would wear in the end.

@gilmoregal - I thought you thought those drop down dresses were not good?

@FellSwoop - any idea how I do that hairdo?!

@Fluffycloudland77 - you are right, I used to be 32A, I am 34A now

I like 375 best

gilmoregal · 01/10/2018 02:38

I think there are probably other styles of dresses that will suit you better however the dress now fits properly and is quite slim fitted not tent like and it's obvious that's 'your style' and you'll look fab if you feel confident as it's something you love.

MountainPeakGeek · 01/10/2018 04:04

you are right, I used to be 32A, I am 34A now - Not a chance! I'm in a 34 bra and I'm twice the width of you. Grin Are you still doing that thing where you take the actual underbust measurement and then add 4 or 5 inches? I bet you're a 30C!!

gilmoregal · 01/10/2018 05:30

I agree no way are you a 34 back!! I'm a 34 back and double the size of you.

Maybe get measured I think boux Avenue go down to a 28A.

Fluffycloudland77 · 01/10/2018 08:19

I'm your shape and a 28 back.

Better Bra campaign. Have a look at it.

MassDebate · 01/10/2018 11:27

375 fits you nicely but tbh I thought it looked a bit mumsy/ordinary. 376 is more stylish imo.

IamAporcupine · 21/10/2018 22:23

Update!

In the end I wore #376 with blue patent shoes.
I am so happy I went with that option - I felt very confident and got loads (loads!) of compliments! Several people said the style really suited me Grin

Thank you everyone who gave advice!

Now I do not know what to do with #375 - should I keep it?

@MassDebate - you will laugh, but I am not sure I know what mumsy is...

Grin porcupine you’ll probably get 100 posters saying something different but to md it’s a bit drab, lacking in any real style - the sort of outfit that says “don’t look at me”.

Glad you chose 376 and really pleased for you that you felt good in it too!

Truckingonandon · 22/10/2018 07:07

Just picking up on the bra thing.....how have you missed all the bra intervention threads on here????!!!! You are absolutely not a 34a. You're possibly a 30c. Please tell me you haven't let M&S measure you??!! Do you know how to measure yourself? It's ded easy.

IamAporcupine · 22/10/2018 08:13

@Truckingonandon - yes I read some of those threads ages ago and thought about it briefly, but I must admit I didn't spend too much time on that as my bras seem to fit fine?

would you mind giving me a quick summary or pointing to a good link?

Truckingonandon · 22/10/2018 12:26

Tape measure. Get naked. Measure underneath the bust. Not loose but not tight. That is your band measurement. Then measure around the fullest part of your bust. The difference between the 2 measurements is your your cupsize. So 1 inch is a, 2 inches is b etc. Don't be surprised to be a 30d or similar. M&s have perpetuated the myth of 38b for a long time.

IamAporcupine · 22/10/2018 14:17

thanks Truckingonandon I will try that when I get home

what's the the 38b myth? Blush
