You have a great figure by the looks of it And that dress is gopping. As said above the underdress is ok but that thing on the top is not .. you could look amazing and this does you no favours .. do you want colour ? Have you looked in Karen Millen / ted baker ? Maybe your style ?

Well, I was almost in tears this afternoon - went to a couple of shops hoping to find something, but of course, I didn't.
There was one dress I liked but they would not have it my size.

I looks like I will have to the safest option, and just wear my usual black dress...

Ah don’t cry over it OP. I feel awful now that you are upset about a dress instead of looking forward to the party.

You said it was hot where you are? What is the temperature?

If you open ASOS you can select your budget and the styles you like. It’s hard to recommend some when you are not quite sure what you are looking for. Look for skirts and straps tops too. You have a nice figure.

The last oasis dress is lovely, I think you'd look really nice in it. Do you have a Waitrose nearby, you can order online from JL and have delivered there the next day.

With your figure, you could probably wear this. It would look absurd on me but I like it!

Of course it will suit you . Order it!! If you have a JL near you then you can do click and collect overnight and return for free if no good 🤗🤗

See I LOVE an oversized dress. Very fashionable. But that monstrosity is NOT . The colour, design, shape, god everything is just HIDEOUS. You can do way way better than that op jeez

I actually really really love that dress porcupine.

Perhaps don't listen to me though, I also really really love vintage nightwear to the extent that I give off static sparks in bed and my hair goes all pouffy.

The ruffles at the bottom are so pretty though!

No difference at all, just I often use jl as I have one nearby so free delivery and returns . If you are paying check how much each one charges .

What I would say OP - is that although that dress isn’t ideal, if any one of our work colleagues turned up wearing it none of us would really give it a second glance or even think anything of it at all

S&B is funny cos it’s peoples personal opinions but doesn’t really mean anything. Don’t let it upset you, people are just trying to help so if they do that’s great but if not then no harm done
