great that Hush have responded never however they should just refund you there ans then.. rather than making you wait for their 'garment technologist' What is one of those anyway!! anyone can tell if the stitching is rubbish!

My prize this week goes to both JL and Boden for super quick refunds.. Both sent back Monday and refunds processed last night!

Boden have done something that made me laugh though.. I sent back a pair of random green 3/4 leggings ( kids ones, sz 15/16 fits adults perfectly). They were in the sale before i went on holiday and I had decided thye would be good to wear out on the plane under a skirt. so ordered , and the same evening i got a code which effectively made them about a fiver, so ordered again. Then got 2emails saying OOS, so I forgot about them. Last week a pair turned up , but the time for 3/4 green leggings had passe so I sent them back. but my refund email yesterday was promptly followed by another a minute of so later saying they had despatched my green leggings ( this must be the 2nd cheaper order!). looks like they are winging their way straight back!!. i might as well keep them now ....gotta hand it to Bodens Automated stock/ dispatch system!

the worlds slowest order from Joules still hasnt arrived.. item was in stock and supposed t be 3-5 days.. that was well over a week ago and Joules customer service didnt seem at all phased when i asked them were my order was on Monday .. . . This doesn't bode well for their returns speed, methinks, so if i dont want them ill be taking hem back to shop rather than posting..

Finger I agree about the coat , it was too big on you . could you go for a smaller size?

Joules refund and delivery are both very slow in my experience. On the rare occasions I want any5hing from hem, I tend just to buy via JL now. My brand alley Hush cashmere and boyfriend jeans have apparently been delivered. I sent the jeans back to Hush as I decided I didn’t £40 love them, but then when I saw them on BA at £15 or £20, I decided as I was paying postage for the jumper anyway, they were worth having.

Hush is still on BA.. I suppose its returns..There's a grey Brigitte on there today but too big. I shall keep looking for a smaller one ( and it may come back in the winter sale) ..

But I have also caved and bought another pair of star jeans from BA ( I wear mine so often i know I am going to want another pair when they wear out), and also the yellow s/s sloppy joe , as I wear my black one so much.. I had ordered it earlier in the year but decided it was too expensive and not so good as my black one , but at £12..

And (as there was one and it would be rude not to !) yet another making 4 pair of XS striped Amies .. These will be dyed burgundy !!

My Clarks boots are on the way they say.. ( these are another pair of the Orinoco Spice in grey and in different sizes as not sure about the fit of the ones i have here )

Buen Día! We had 2 lovely days on our “Murcia Road Trip” (holiday within the holiday if that makes sense). Just caught up with thread.
Visited Murcia city, lovely and cozy and here I am being a Greek widow and sans Star Trooper boot 😎 ankle has finally healed and after lots of walking the last couple of days no pain.
After Murcia we drive to Caravaca De la Cruz (Caravaca is my mother’s surname so it’s a special place for many reasons) and stayed overnight visiting the castle and old medioeval sacred town. Then had tea in Lorca at an amazing Parador perched on a hilltop castle and finished off with dinner in Altea old town on the way back.
If you’re in Murcia do visit at least the old town and if you go to Costa Blanca I cannot recommend old Altea town enough for fabulousness and amazing Med views. We always always stop for lunch or dinner there. It’s got great shopping too and got tempted by some new shades in a boutique before having dinner in a flower patio.
Must watch it I think I’m getting porky again with all the delicious food and wine...I guess I’ll have to go on strict diet on return

Today not much planned, meeting up with friends who live here, maybe a trip to the beach late afternoon.

@Laska, it is tight of them. They should have said they would refund me and keep the skirt. After all, I have spent over the years a small fortune. It is a bit shit and @Cherries, even more shit it sounds like an 'automated' response. Utter crap :(

never I love the print but I have to say I find the dress style rather meh, especially at £75. It’s the dress though, not you, as I have the same reaction to it on the Hush site. Put it this way, I think you look equally as good in it as the Hush models!

aww thanks. I think I am returning it. Like you I love the print but the shape is shit. Its feels too big tbh but the 10 is too neat over my hips. Thanks for the feedback and being so lovely about it :)

Its also too long I think too. The 10 was better all over but to neat on my bum and hips.

@Laska, I bought the nana jumper last year. Its gorgeous, cosy and a lovely grey. It washes beautifully. I have the xs.
I have ordered the camel dress in the same fabric today. I really wanted it last year and hung out for the sale but was gutted as they never reduced it. I have it in green but much preferred the camel.

Both the dresses and the jumpers remind me of Toast in years gone by. They used to do lovely jumper dresses in beautiful yarns and lovely colours. Nothing like that now.

Paisley Jaquard wool sweater but its £££ and the wool may be itchy and worse cause of the high neck.

I have the green Nana from last year(in the sale ) and its lovely but if I was going to buy a grey one for that kind of price I'd get this one But as i already have the yellow one I wont be.. .

Its beautiful in the grey [ the john lewis one] but it looks quite chunky. It still may be quite light? What I like about the nana is its super cosy but has virtually no substance.

Re the zebra: I like the neckline and length, but to me it’s not wow like the Kensington on you...this could be due to the pic as it’s such a dark dress difficult to tell. I think it’s okay, judging by the pic not 100% sure it’s really “you”.

On shopping I’m off to the shops now as I’ve seen some Zara biker skinnies I think same style as my favourite black and olive ones in camouflage print. I also want some more Kiko B.B. cream (my favourite) and will have a look at the new season boots while I’m at it 😉
It’s 8pm and still 26C, shops open till 10pm. 👍
