I really like the leopard shoes Dave, and also really Iove that style in the black also ..
Am not so keen on the yellow T bars TBH.

Nearlyadoctor · 18/09/2018 21:34

Love the boots @Dave , they go with everything.

Laska5772 · 18/09/2018 21:35

Oh those Evie shoes are navy.. I see , would be better in black. I loved the similar ones never bought from Hush last season (but sadly with my stupid broken toe which s doesn't look like its going to go back to its original shape) i dont think i will be able to wear pointed toes again.. Its even more of a shame because I bought these in pink only a couple of weeks before i did it )

neveradullmoment99 · 18/09/2018 22:17

Love the boots @Dave but in all honesty, if you aren't comfortable in them then I would give it a lot of thought. I tend to avoid wearing things that are not comfy!!! They usually just lie there so beware!!
Didn't have any hush on today [ well apart from my lovely leather bag which I wear to work from the Hush sale] Had my asda check pinafore with black long sleeved tee, next beige cashmere long bf cardigan and black tights and tan white stuff brogues which I have had for years. It all looked pretty put together considering I was in a rush!!!

DavetheCat2001 · 18/09/2018 22:26

They feel better with an insole in, and actually I have fallen in love with them (and chucked that packaging away now!).

I have a few pairs of boots with heels at least that high, so reckon I'll be ok.

Going to wear them out on Thursday Smile

dontcallmelen · 18/09/2018 22:30

Laska I saw the skirt in M&S thought it was lovely.
Anyone had anything from Baujken they have a sale on at the moment just wondering what sizing was like?
Dave Yy boden shoes, some great colours as well.

PorpoisefullyObtuse · 18/09/2018 22:36

Baukjen sizing is pretty true in my limited experience. I love the boots Dave, and the wee pointy flats are rather lovely...

dontcallmelen · 18/09/2018 22:38

Cheers porpoise they have some nice looking v neck jumpers

GinandGingerBeer · 18/09/2018 23:10

Really love the boots and the coat @Dave. I've looked at the coat a few times on the Boden website and dismissed it as being a funny length but it looks much longer on you. Tempted!

GinandGingerBeer · 18/09/2018 23:16

Just realised it's a totally different coat 😂

DavetheCat2001 · 19/09/2018 07:01

Haha gin.

There's a few Leopard coats on there at rhe moment. Mine is the Hengrave.

AFingerofFudge · 19/09/2018 08:25

Sorry I was away for the weekend and into Monday and totally missed the end of the last thread and the start of this!
Will post later after the school run as the Harri jacket finally arrived .....

neveradullmoment99 · 19/09/2018 17:22

I got this back from the Hush team today after my review:

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review these are most helpful for us and our customers. I am very sorry you are disappointed with your item and the hem is fraying that is not our usual hush standard of quality I do apologise. I have attached a form for you to return the item to us so we can pass it on to our garment technicians to take a look. Please state on the paperwork if you would prefer a replacement or a refund and do not forget to keep your receipt of proof of postage. We will contact you once the item has been seen and let you know the outcome.

I have also brought this matter to the attention of our design team as this is not our usual hush quality of finish I do apologise again for any disappointment or inconvenience caused and they will be looking into this matter to ensure our garments are not finished in this way again.

Sounds like they are taking it seriously? That 'hem' was diabolical.

GinandGingerBeer · 19/09/2018 18:42

I had a look at the floral version in JL and the hem looks like it's been done with plunking shears Confused

neveradullmoment99 · 19/09/2018 19:00

Its not even a hem Gin and I think hush realise that. The comparison between that skirt and the Florence one is pretty shocking. The Florence is a beautiful fit and the lining is silky so it slips on.

Ellapaella · 19/09/2018 20:25

It really makes you wonder who is in charge of actually checking the quality and finish of the items after production. Very sloppy.

So, the Harri jacket was back at the post office within half an hour of me receiving it!
It was gorgeous, and actually really well made and finished, but I looked huge in it! It obviously is quite bulky and I've got broad shoulders, so I felt massive. Apologies for picture, I know they clash, it was just what I was wearing at the time!!!

Love the shoes Fudge!

I have once more abandoned my no spend September and bought mustang janebi boots. They arrived today - I really like them. Not leather but £83 pounds and they are very comfy and imminently wearable for me. Justified as I am still selling. Ebayed a pair of joules chelsea boots which just aren’t me (worn once, lovely but just felt wrong) and they are selling at £50+. I will live in the janebis. They are lush with heavy tights and a dress, side zip and laces so can accommodate skinnies. Chunky enough but not too chunky. Delighted!

That's a shame. I have the Harri jacket. It is quite bulky but I suppose its because it is short and faux fur. I quite like it on you but if it doesn't feel right or comfy then there is no point in keeping it. I found the pockets on mine are annoyingly far back. Its just sitting in my wardrobe though atm. Still not cold enough for it. Maybe next month!!!

PorpoisefullyObtuse · 19/09/2018 21:21

Btw I posted a pic of these dune pearcey boots on last thread as I can’t manage to make them work. I’ve tried again. They just are not me at all. They are size 5 and worn maybe 3-5 times. I’m plannung to eBay them but if anyone here fancies them PM me and I’m happy to sell here instead.

Ellapaella · 19/09/2018 21:48

I'm just about to start watching Killing Eve as I've heard it's really good but just checking back in here first.
Been wearing my petrol star biker sweat a lot the last few days, perfect weather for it.
I like that coat on you Fudge - such a nice colour.
Porpoise I had a similar pair of boots a couple of years ago, mine were from Roxy, same style as yours and a glittery gold colour. I really liked them but also sold them on eBay as couldn't work out what to wear them with. I love your mustang boots.
What jeans are you all wearing at the moment? I'm still in my boyfriend jeans and cut offs with trainers mostly - haven't fully transitioned back into skinnies and winter boots just yet.
I am umming and ahhring over a pair of vans at the moment. I don't suit many trainers as my legs are quite short but I do like Vans but I'm worried they're a bit too 'teenage' (based purely on the fact that my Teenage ds and step daughter have loads of pairs).

AFingerofFudge · 19/09/2018 22:18

I did like the jacket, but at £135 it had to be perfect, and it wasn't. Yes the pockets were too far back too!

Might get that Uniqlo one now ...

neveradullmoment99 · 19/09/2018 23:02

Who bought the Toast Pinafore on here? Was it any good? I had one but it was very long and didn't wear it much. The material was very stiff. Just wondering how you found it.
I like the Uniqlo one. The only reason I liked the hush one was the colour. I really really like that red.

AFingerofFudge · 20/09/2018 06:11

It was me never (I have had a spectacular few months of clothes buying, a first for me who didn't used to like shopping!)
I haven't worn it yet though as the weather has been too warm. It is quite thick, but for me that was part of the appeal!
