And the RocknRoll T I know it’s ££ for what it is but usually due to 34FF norkage cannot wear round neck T’s without looking enormous, this I can just get away with as it’s a nice cut and I ❤️

yes the fabric is similar to the green Florence from last AW but all shades of grey, really nice 👍

@SoyYo they have a beautiful black faux fur coat almost identical to the hush one for only £39.99.
If I didn't already have a million coats I'd have got that too!

soy, love that middle pic, you look like one kick-ass woman . I have also kept the rocknroll tee. Even if I never wear it outside, it makes me happy.

ella, I like the coat, I tried it on the other day and was very tempted. They aren’t super-warm, but I quite rate NL for the shape of their coats. They usually have nice clean lines and can look a lot more expensive than they are. I had the camel version of yours last year, but it had a hideous popper rather than the button they have this year. I took the popper off, made a button hole and bought one single imitation horn button from the haberdashery dept. And hour of work and 3 quid and the coat looked about three times it’s original price

I tried on the fur one as well, but because it had fur on both sides of the labels it made my norks shoot to the furthest reaches of the alphabet.

Lapels obviously. The labels were not furry.

Yes as ella and you said I’ve been lusting after a fur coat for a while but don’t want to pay ££ for something I’ll only wear for “fun” and I really liked the leopard print Minis too.
The coat ella is wearing may not last forever but it’s such a classic shape that goes with everything...I got a great denim jacket in New Look in the summer for only £25 and a v neck T with an interesting back for only £10. Both have washed extremely well and still look good after a lot of wear.
I never used to even go into New Look thinking it was teenage tat but I’ll definitely pop in this weekend before they sell out as I imagine they turnover stock pretty fast

cherries I’m glad you kept the T and you can definitely wear out. We rock our middle age! I have a gig (Seasick Steve, blues man) coming up and I go to gigs every few weeks so it’ll be my T for those nights 👌

Corn Exchange Cambridge ella I’ve got a lot of his music, love him! Nov 9th so a few weeks to go and honestly can’t wait! I missed him in Norwich last year as by the time I realised they’d sold out but I pounced early this year and still only got standing tickets but tbh I prefer to be on the ground dancing near the stage. He is a legend! heres one if his tunes which every time I play reminds me of happy summers 😎

And I started out with nothing and I still have most of it left ❤️

Oh, I love Seasick Steve. We tried to get tickets but I can’t do standing concerts. Partly as standing for that length of time is hard but more because I feel very vulnerable in crowds. If someone bangs into me, I can’t guarantee my leg will be stable enough to hold me upright. Won’t travel on rush hour public transport either.

Yes cherries can’t wait to go! Not all the venues are standing as the Cambridge Corn Exchange has seated sections so it’s a matter of keeping an eye on his tour dates to find venues with seats...they do sell out fast as he tends to play mid sized venues and I never knew he was so popular so that kind of explains it.

Loving seeing everyone's purchases and looking fab. I bought the black fur jacket from New Look when it was on offer at £30. Couldn't resist! Just waiting for it to be cold enough to wear......

Can I just delurk to ask about the fit of the joules lilly boatneck - do I go with my regular size and is it bum covering?

That is a great coat, Ella. I got a parka in NL about 3/4 years ago and it owes me nothing now. It was the BEST coat even during the storms and snow we had earlier this year. I would love a new one this winter so I might have to take a browse soon.

The latest crop of pics you both look totally fab Soy especially in the skirt biker & boots, Ella love that coat will go with so many outfits yy NL do have some gems.

Aargh Ella I only bought another (my 3rd) Joules Lilly on Sunday and I cant take it back as have l have already worn it ..

I went into H&M at lunchtime today to buy a new charcoal vest top and another 3pack of their fab trainer socks with silicone heels ( they are the best i think ).

I was surprised to see how many really good dupes of the stuff i already have or have been looking at ( think wide / supersoft tops and plenty really nice looking jumpers and shirt dresses ) Of course .. I do know that the quality isn't the same, but .. they are right on it! lots of that ochre yellow. greys and navys..

All I bought though was what I went in for ' .

I think I may have to order the Hush long line charcoal vest though.. but its very overpriced i think ..Tu do the same type at about £6.99 ( but not in charcoal sadly ) .

Talking of teddy coat in New look they have a golden brown furry coat which is just the same colour ( i think) of my old teddybear!

Tu also had a really nice green Boucle coat today , Its finally hit the island, though I had seen it in Portsmouth some weeks ago.. its lovely . but just not a coat for what I do. Its not on-line anymore but its this one but in bottle/ emerald green

Ladies, when are we betting on the first of the A/W release going into sale? It feels like it's been out for AGES...has it?! I'm desperate for the burgandy roll neck Tara dress but forgot to buy with 10% discount last weekend. Hmph.
