Navy Leopard Star jumper on it sway I am a bit excited even though I shouldn't be as its too expensive

neveradullmoment99 · 28/09/2018 15:59

I know how you feel. Mine is hanging in my wardrobe. It really isn't worth it but its just such a gorgeous design.

neveradullmoment99 · 28/09/2018 15:59

Are you re-ordering the skirt Laska?

Laska5772 · 28/09/2018 16:01

No. its not me really ( I also have a nice H&M Khaki pleated skirt , I had forgotten about until earlier today ! )

neveradullmoment99 · 28/09/2018 16:10

Well I have 2 pleated skirts and haven't worn them that much but I do like them. I have too much in my wardrobe and tend to forget what I have, thinking I have nothing. I need to organise it to maximise the choices I have. I also now need to put my summer clothes away and bring forth the winter stuff.

Laska5772 · 28/09/2018 16:15

That's what I did this afternoon Never (well the wardrobe anyway, haven't swapped over my T shirt drawer yet) , that's when I 're-found' the H&M skirt!!

neveradullmoment99 · 28/09/2018 16:19

I ordered the green wide top from JL. Out of stock on the hush website. A bit annoying as I didn't get the 10% but I wanted it tomorrow so I can wear it on Monday with my new skirt. I ordered the small. Hoping it fits well.

Laska5772 · 28/09/2018 16:31

My H&M skirt is the same green as this one also comes in but doesnt have the extra floaty bit. However this is quite nice I think .

neveradullmoment99 · 28/09/2018 16:59

That's really nice laska. I like the bit at the front. Its quite unusual.

whiskyremorse · 28/09/2018 17:15

Catching up on you guys after a crazy work week. Really fancy a pair of black coated jeans and wondered if the Hush ones were worth the price. They've not no online reviews yet so I guess they have changed the design from last year. Anybody got them?

neveradullmoment99 · 28/09/2018 17:19

I ordered them. I found them small fitting. I ordered both the 12 and the 14 and couldn't get the 12 on by my thighs. The 14 fitted ok. They are nice. Maybe its just me? I have the ones from ages ago and I have a 12 in them and they fit fine and if anything are too loose on me!

neveradullmoment99 · 28/09/2018 17:21

I had to wear a belt with them today as they were sliding down [ that's the old ones] I would definitely consider ordering them again but I have spent quite a lot this month so they will need to wait. What I really like about them is that they are not overly shiny.

ilovecherries · 28/09/2018 17:21

I tried them yesterday whiskey. I found the rise too short and I thought they were quite small made. My usual 12 had NO chance of getting past my thighs, and I struggled into a 14 but they were bloody uncomfortable. Tried the 16 and they were far too big and baggy on the leg.

whiskyremorse · 28/09/2018 17:25

Thank you both. I think I will go to John Lewis and see if they are there. If not there are likely to be other brands to try. If they are low rise then they won't suit me!

neveradullmoment99 · 28/09/2018 17:34

They are quite low rise I agree.

neveradullmoment99 · 28/09/2018 17:35

@cherries, I am glad you found that too. They were very small made.

whiskyremorse · 28/09/2018 17:35

I've just ordered these from Sweaty Betty which are coated but more casual/biker. We shall see. Sorry not figured out links yet 😱

ilovecherries · 28/09/2018 17:49

Oh, these are nice. I think I might order a pair for DD for Xmas, she’d love them. She loves SB but it’s usually out of her budget.

whiskyremorse · 28/09/2018 18:00

They're really discounted eh, but good reviews as long as you size down. Worth an order I think!

noodlezoodle · 28/09/2018 18:41

Hello lovely hushistas, I'm an occasional poster and everyday lurker - this is one of the loveliest and most supportive corners of the internet!

Has anyone bought either the Devore Leopard Tee or the Charlie twist dress? I would love to buy both but I'm in the US so delivery and returns are expensive and I don't want to make a sizing mistake. Would love some 'real life' info about sizing - some of the reviews say to size down in the Charlie and some don't!

I won't be back in the UK until Christmas and I suspect both may have sold out if I wait until then.

neveradullmoment99 · 28/09/2018 18:56

I know that soyo ordered the Charlie twist dress. Maybe if she is on she can help you noodle. No idea about either the dress or the top. Did consider the dress as it is really nice.

ilovecherries · 28/09/2018 19:44

Haven’t tried the dress either noodle. I was overwhelmed with the complexities of ironing it! I saw the top yesterday, but didn’t try it as it looked more of an occasion top - was beautiful though.

neveradullmoment99 · 28/09/2018 19:52

Oh the ironing of it would be a bugger!!!

PorpoisefullyObtuse · 28/09/2018 19:57

Sorry Noodles - I’ve not tried either, either!

whiskyremorse · 28/09/2018 20:01

I'm glad it's not just me who decides against clothes because of the ironing. Had a gorgeous French collection top a few years ago with a double frill around the neckline and sleeves. It spent more time in the ironing pile than being worn...
