Had enough of seeing something repeated ad nauseam?

Want to offload when having tried to find good quality, stylish clothes you are instead met with a sea of shit? Epically garish, cheaply manufactured (without the corresponding price tag) and downright tired apply here.

I may be alone in having this need, but may I start by offering..... the rainbow jumper. How to take a perfectly useable piece of cloth and curse it to landfill in nanoseconds.....

I agree CocteauTwin

EdinaMonsoon · 15/09/2018 18:21

Cocteautwin wins Wink

Clionba · 15/09/2018 18:43

True. There's an expression "I wouldn't wear that if you paid me!" doesn't apply to these bloggers if the prevalence of Golden Goose, leopardskin and polyester maxi dresses is anything to go by.

Tortycat · 15/09/2018 21:07

no one's mentioned mom jeans yet- the most unflattering style ever. I've tried on several pairs but they've all looked hideous. Big baggy crotch, loads of material round my thighs, saggy bum. Keeping my skinnies!

thenightsky · 15/09/2018 21:32

Are 'mom' jeans the same as 'mum' jeans?

goose1964 · 15/09/2018 21:42

I'm going to stand up for men with beards, I've never seen DH clean shaven that's more than 31years.DS2 also has beard because he has sensitive skin and shaving is agony.

LoniceraJaponica · 15/09/2018 21:44

I really don't like beards. I once kissed a guy with a moustache (bleurgh)

HashTagLil · 15/09/2018 21:52

Bloomcounty have you watched Idiocracy?

I LOVE that film!! It's getting really scary how accurate it's becoming though. Shock

rightknockered · 15/09/2018 21:58

I really hate culottes now. Anything that requires that much effort to stop them looking shit has to be wrong.
And clothes that I can't wear a bra with

Ceeeeeelia · 15/09/2018 22:01

Oasis used the be my staple for nice but unfussy work ware. Now they want me to dress like a test card

Ceeeeeelia · 15/09/2018 22:03

Dammit, can't do a pic. Here's the hideous link

delphguelph · 16/09/2018 02:00

Trainers with heels.

Like, what?

delphguelph · 16/09/2018 02:02

I don't think so, the night sky.

One's trendy, the other isn't.

MakeYourOwnFuckingTea · 16/09/2018 03:07

Check out this monstrosity. This is what us plus size ladies want.

Got a walk of atonement due? Don't worry. You're sorted.

I really don't like the trend for mules.

The only mules I think are cute are the high heeled ones with the pink fluff on the toes worn indoors only.

Those furry sliders, I kept thinking various school run mum's had gone out in their slippers till I saw them for sale in Primark.

Cold shoulder tops, pointless.

Ripped jeans, why would I want to pay for something that looks like it's lost a battle with a moth.

I do love 3/4 sleeve though, especially on a boater neck (I think that's the right term) top. I love high waisted skinny jeans as they hold my wobbly mum tum in.

I had some concealed wedge trainers and I LOVED them Blush I have tiny feet so have to stop in the kids shoes departments and I thought they made my feet look a nice shape and looked fab teamed with skinny jeans.

I love a plain, round neck, Primark tshirt. My go to daily outfit. Logos and patterns look odd on me, I'm a funny shape. Slim but with a tummy and no boobs to speak of. So patterns just seem to accentuate the tummy and hide my chest.

ShimmeringIce · 16/09/2018 18:41

I quite like that grey dress @MakeYourOwn... where’s it from? Blush

MakeYourOwnFuckingTea · 16/09/2018 18:44

I confess that I bought a cold shoulder top in the sale 2 years ago to wear ti work. It was a fine black knit and the holes had gold zips on them. My mum fixed the zips so they actually work and it looks fab. Never had so many compliments tbh.

MakeYourOwnFuckingTea · 16/09/2018 18:49

It's from Evans and it should be in the sale. I do have a similar dress from Yours that's cheaper and looks miles better. Evans are stopping selling anything larger than a 28. I'm not that size anymore but feel like they shouldn't be so snobby.

OhTheTastyNuts · 16/09/2018 20:42

High waisted jeans/jeggings.

I have long legs and a short body. High waisted jeans come right up to my boobs and give me a camel's toe 😣😣

I'd give anything for the return of low rise 😯

LoniceraJaponica · 16/09/2018 20:46

I can't wear low rise or mid rise jeans as they cut into me in the wrong place, and I have to keep hauling them up. High waisted just come up to my belly button and are the most comfortable. I must have quite a long body.

OhTheTastyNuts · 16/09/2018 20:51

Even mid rise jeans cover my belly button!!

duckling84 · 16/09/2018 21:14

Boxy t shirts.
They flatter no one!

I have great boobs and a teeny waist, I want to show it off! Bored of not being able to find nice clothes to wear
