I have sent a fair bit back too. I would email again.

Ellapaella · 30/08/2018 21:18

@Laska5772 I'm pretty annoyed I'm still not a friend! I've spent hundreds this year on Hush Angry what does it take?

neveradullmoment99 · 30/08/2018 21:19

I think it came back the day you emailed. I thought they had read the title of the old thread and given it to us all. Its not on Laska. You should complain.

Laska5772 · 30/08/2018 21:19

Actually no. I dont ..its only free delivery because i have used the A18PREVIEW code

Has anyone else got their Hush friends back?

neveradullmoment99 · 30/08/2018 21:21

I reckon its probably random like the next sales as long as you spend x amount which I am sure you have [ think about summer clothes you bought!]

SoyYo · 30/08/2018 21:37

Yes I got my Hush friends delivery back when I placed my order this eve and I’ve returned LOADS! How weird only some of us got it laska
Not Fair! Angry
And why on Earth ella hasn’t got it yet is unfathomable...
Re the stiff neck not sure if Pilates would help tbh but we do do neck stretching exercises my theory is that it helps with Everything. I used to have chronic back pain, really crippling at times. After the first 6 months of regular Pilates classes it magically disappeared never to return again.
After a year I noticed everything started looking firm, I’m still a bit podgy but my fat is firm if that makes sense. For me it’s also a time when I have to concentrate hard on what my body is doing so I can’t think of anything else and that in itself is like meditation/mindfulness so after a class I always feel good and centred.
I recommend you look for classes led by physiotherapists qualified as Pilates instructors rather than just a fitness person with a Pilates qualification. Start slow and build up slow. Takes 3 + months of weekly classes to see results but it’s the only exercise I’ve stuck to for so long.

Laska5772 · 30/08/2018 21:38

Actually i haven't actually checked out now.. It was a good check... the petrol star is a lovely colour , but really, its just a slub T with a star on it for almost £40..
Halo

--but i did reorder the grey v wide neck in the larger size from JL ( Hush sz S is oos)

Laska5772 · 30/08/2018 21:40

Ah well if it doesn't come back .. I wont be ordering.. so there Hush..

DavetheCat2001 · 30/08/2018 21:42

@ellapaella - yes I would definitely recommend Pilates for your aches and pains.

I have tried so many different forms of exercise and honestly, Pilates is the one with the best results.

It's great for aches/pains and strengthening your core and back. I work at a Pilates studio (not teaching) and I know from the students how much benefit it has. I'd definitely recommend you trying it out.

@SoyYo - thanks for the lovely comments. I have to admit I take a lot of inspiration form ella too!

I emailed them again..

PorpoisefullyObtuse · 30/08/2018 21:49

EllaPaella - I definitely recommend Pilates for dodgy necks and shoulders. Just make sure you go to a physio led class rather than a gym class. Some gym based instructors do a two day course to be apilates instructor and have 20+ in a class. They can’t see whether you are doing it properly and therefore won’t be able to tell you if you aren’t. You will pay more. I would now risk a gym class but basically ignore the teacher a wee bit as I have learnt what works for me. I started going about 5 years ago as I had ongoing shoulder issues and the bugger kept going into spasm for days. I still have sore shoulders but I haven’t needed physioed in a crisis for years. DH has been going for a few years too!

I’ve had two sales tonight! Think I may have gone slightly low but it’s stuff I don’t wear. Also have two eBay listings. A few things DD has outgrown. I’ve got some gorgeous stuff of mine but want to remember how it works before listing a whistles dress and ending up selling it for 99p...

PorpoisefullyObtuse · 30/08/2018 21:51

You getting the message EllaP?

SoyYo · 30/08/2018 22:01

Good luck Porpoise hope the eBaying is a big success! You’re right to test the waters and though I’ve never done it (too lazy) I’ve read you can always set a minimum value for things you know you’d hate to part with for less than that.
Totally agree with your Pilates comments. I learnt it with a fabulous physiotherapist (whose body puts the Hush models to shame, early thirties, gorgeous but soo brilliant we were never made to feel like useless blobs), she kept her classes to no more than 8/10 people, corrected our postures, really took time to check. Unfortunately she’s stopped and now I attend a class with a fitness instructor who’s good but I know what I’m doing so not so fussed. Even though her classes are still small I can see she’s not walking the talk and a lot of people drop out as the level is too advanced.
Love Pilates, it’s transformed my perception of exercise and can’t recommend it highly enough.

So Good night all! Look forward to your fashion news tomorrow

Ellapaella · 30/08/2018 22:01

Oh sorry @PorpoisefullyObtuse I am watching The Crown.. a bit engrossed, just went to kitchen for a wine top up and saw your post. I'll have a wee check now.

Ellapaella · 30/08/2018 22:03

Did you mean you've sent me a message @PorpoisefullyObtuse? Can't see anything in my mumsnet inbox?

Ellapaella · 30/08/2018 22:04

Thanks for all the advice on Pilates by physio's. I'll have a look for local classes.

PorpoisefullyObtuse · 30/08/2018 22:11

Sorry Ella - meant the message re Pilates! It’s really great...

Ellapaella · 30/08/2018 22:15

Oh ha ha yes I see.. I'm definitely going to give it a try. Thanks for your advice.

Laska5772 · 30/08/2018 22:30

Right I've run out of Wine (its ok there were only a 2 glasses worth i left in that wine box

So its Brew bed and book and Goodnight from me!

AFingerofFudge · 31/08/2018 00:07

Having a sneaky peek while at work - SoYo I really want that Melody dress, might have to put in another order before they sell out!

Skimbleskanks · 31/08/2018 07:50

@PorpoisefullyObtuse I love those boots and would wear them with EVERYTHING. unhelpful

@DavetheCat2001 I first thought the dress was uninspiring but actually I think it's just very versatile. Looks brilliant with the biker jacket did you keep it?

@ilovecherries you look AMAZING on holiday.

@Laska5772 is it normal Dylon dye you used on the leggings? I don't think I'm going to have time but they look really good. I bought two pairs yesterday Shock Can I wear them with jumper dresses?

neveradullmoment99 · 31/08/2018 07:56

They would look great with a jumper dress😀

FannyAdmin · 31/08/2018 08:00

I think I might actually wear my Amies outside if I dyed them 🤔.

Laska5772 · 31/08/2018 08:14

skimble yes Dylon machine dye .. They are much darker than the photo . and I've also dyed 3 pairs of B/W striped Amies as they were so cheap ( grey, navy and purple) . I did the navy Amies and leggings together . You can do up to 600g of dry fabric in one dye wash.

fanny I do wear mine out! but would never have done so otherwise)

Despite being pssd off with no Hush friends I have done another order this morning......

Estee printed shirt ( I love my Hortensa one so much and this is a lovely colour for Autumn) , wine raglan T and yes, the petrol star T (even though its really expensive) .. I dont think id suit the biker sweat either, I'm already quite wide on the shoulders and with my big norks it would just look too boxy on me I think

DavetheCat2001 · 31/08/2018 08:15

@Skimbleskanks -I haven't decided yet. It only arrived yesterday, but I am away this weekend and thinking I'd quite like to wear it... so not sure.

It does seem like a pretty classic piece that would be easy to wear... I'm just aware of how much money I have spent on clothes recently! 😬
