I succumbed and ordered the nana jumper.
I will be tres stylish this a/w thanks to these lovely threads.

GinandGingerBeer · 02/09/2018 12:48

@Theonlyoneiknow you are no longer @Theonlyoneiknow Grin
There are two of us!

neveradullmoment99 · 02/09/2018 12:50

The mustard for both dresses @each
I didn't realise the zebra dress was navy. I thought it was black. That makes tights more difficult. I would probably either match the tights with navy tights, go for slightly lighter denier rather than opaque or go for black tights and black shoes.

GinandGingerBeer · 02/09/2018 12:53

My order has arrived at John Lewis but I'm too hungover to go and get it.
I feel awful Sad still in bed.
Enjoying seeing pics of everyone's haul Smile

neveradullmoment99 · 02/09/2018 12:56

aawww - no sympathy!!!! self induced Grin
Only kidding!!!!
You simply have to collect it though. We want to see Grin

neveradullmoment99 · 02/09/2018 12:57

I don't remember the last time I was hung over
I think I need a bit of alcohol in my life.

neveradullmoment99 · 02/09/2018 12:58

Im just Envy
No social life atm.

Ellapaella · 02/09/2018 13:16

@EachandEveryone or bare legs with navy dress or skin coloured tights - the shiny ones.
Agree a mustard clutch to match would be fab.

GinandGingerBeer · 02/09/2018 13:21

Well I had a great night but god I'm paying for it today. DS1 is off to uni in 3 weeks, and I was supposed to be doing an Ikea run today. That ain't happening!
Is it ok if I hide from Mil when she comes? She's bringing a friend Confused who we've never met, to introduce us. What's that all about lol!

Ellapaella · 02/09/2018 13:32

A friend or a 'friend' Gin? Wink

lilmrschatty · 02/09/2018 13:36

Does anyone have a £20 off brand alley referral code please? Very tempted by some hush bits on there! Thanks.

EachandEveryone · 02/09/2018 13:37

Is she getting engaged?

What were you drinking? I can’t do it anymore but I keep trying. I go out so little I’m like one of those teenage binge drinkers when I finally see the inside of a bar.

It’s a very dark navy.

Talisin · 02/09/2018 13:51

@lilmrschatty PMed you a Brand Alley code.

SoyYo · 02/09/2018 13:51

Hi Here’s a Brand Alley referrral code for £20 off
mention-me.com/m/ol/qm7jt-2f6177249e

Theonlyoneiknow · 02/09/2018 13:54

@ginandgingerbeer - Lol maybe I am now @Theonlytwoknow. However my DCs are very much younger at primary school but I think you are younger than me? (I am 46!)

Was out at a comedy club last night. It was really good. Abstsined from booze as I simply can't cope mentally with hangovers any more. They really affect me for days and I feel terribly down in the dumps!

lilmrschatty · 02/09/2018 13:58

Thanks for codes, my basket was expiring and I panicked and found one on the for sale fb page. I've reordered the dark blue boyfriend jeans, I had them earlier in the year and love them but after a few weeks they developed a hole by the rivet in the back pocket. Hush were very good and sent me another pair, but the replacements had an even bigger hole in the same place! Had anyone else had this problem with them? For £25 I'm much more willing to overlook any holes than when I paid £50!

Ellapaella · 02/09/2018 14:01

My Stella star tee that I've only had since March has developed a hole under the arm pit. I haven't even worn it that much. Total rip off at £35, I've got similar style t shirts from NewLook that cost £6 which I've had for at least 3 years with no problems.
Annoyed.

lilmrschatty · 02/09/2018 14:22

That's a shame Ella, why don't you see if they will take it back? I'm also waiting for them to replace my embroidered star sweatshirt that arrived yesterday with very obvious loose stitching at the top of the star. When you pay a premium for clothes you do expect them to be perfect!

GinandGingerBeer · 02/09/2018 14:51

I'm 48 this month @Theonlyoneiknow
My dcs are 16 & 18; I miss them being little ones, but don't miss the exhaustion of it all!
I'm going to miss my eldest so much when he goes to uni, it's all gone too quickly.
I was drinking a zesty gin number, but not with ginger beer, just tonic. Just not a good idea to drink half a bottle of it.

GinandGingerBeer · 02/09/2018 14:58

@Ellapaella definitely not getting engaged Grin
It's just some random, she has this thing where if she finds something or someone she likes she has to foist it on everyone. She cannot understand that people like different things.
For her current obsession she keeps sending me Andre Rieu DVDs Confused

DavetheCat2001 · 02/09/2018 15:21

@Ellapaella you should definitely complain about your tee.

That's shockingly bad.

ilovecherries · 02/09/2018 15:28

I have ordered the Meg zebra skirt. I notice I have friends back, so should be there when we get home. Have ordered a 12. Going to send the carpe diem tee back though, it’s just not £35 worth.

Ellapaella · 02/09/2018 15:49

I bought it at JL and didn't keep the receipt unfortunately. £35 though for a top that hasn't even lasted the summer.

neveradullmoment99 · 02/09/2018 15:54

Ella It doesn't matter if you didn't keep the receipt. Its not good enough. It wasn't fit for purpose. You need to email JL and tell them. Then they will tell you what to do next. They should give you a full refund for it. Its the law.

neveradullmoment99 · 02/09/2018 15:55

If they ask for proof - check your bank statements. If you paid by card, you should have a record of it. Regardless, they should have a record of it. You are ENTITLED to your money back.
