She looks stunning with her hair down and a lot like her mother. I know it's personal preference and all, but imagine how much krona per year she and Daniel must spend on hair gel!

See Meg was at a community kitchen at Grenfell- she looked great in a white shirt, very smiley and looked like she was really enjoying herself.

She changed into -one of Kate’s- a Breton too for the actual cooking.

On the Daily Mail website.

CP Victoria has beautiful hair! I've never seen her wear it down before, it really softens her features. It looks naturally thick and wavy. I don't know why she scrapes it back like that.
I saw the article about Meghan and Grenfell in the Telegraph. She's been involved with the project for a while, and has had a few cooking sessions with the women. I also saw William on DIY SOS helping to decorate the community centre.

evilharpy · 17/09/2018 14:58

There’s a video on instagram about the cookbook project, with Meghan providing the voiceover. She’s lovely to listen to!

QueenOfTheAndals · 17/09/2018 15:27

She does have a nice speaking voice - it's very soothing! By contrast (evven though I know I shouldn't compare them!), poor Kate always sounds so stilted.

Meghan has written the foreword for the Grenfell cook book too

QueenOfTheAndals · 17/09/2018 17:13

I love this red dress on Letizia and I like the little princesses' tweed dresses too. They look like twins but it's actually the slightly smaller one who's heir to the throne. Spain still has male primogeniture but obviously it's unlikely that Letizia will have another child.

Smart but age appropriate dresses on the girls that don’t look old fashioned or like they have stepped out of a story book. Wouldn’t expect anything else from Leti!

QueenOfTheAndals · 17/09/2018 19:52

That's something the British royals have yet to master - Sophie Wessex usually looks great but dresses poor Lady Louise in some very frumpy outfits. Last time I saw a photo of her she was wearing something my gran might've sported in the 80s!

DD is about the same age and build as Leonor - any idea where her dress is from, anyone?

QueenOfTheAndals · 17/09/2018 20:36

Apparently they often wear a Spanish brand called Nanos. Not sure if those dresses are from there though. Leonor is a beautiful little girl, isn't she?

Great visit for the DofS. She has said she is a foodie.
Great to see her with such of diverse range of women. Meghan is an excellent role model

QueenOfTheAndals · 18/09/2018 10:28

Meghan is going to be attending the opening of an exhibition at the Royal Academy next Tuesday - is it her first solo engagement? She and Harry also have something this Thursday and on Monday.

CurlyWurlyTwirly · 18/09/2018 10:30

I thought the cooking thing was her first solo engagement

QueenOfTheAndals · 18/09/2018 11:08

Yes of course!

There are some location scenes of The Crown being shot at Winchester Cathedral

I do hope they have some interesting younger characters. Maybe we will see a different side of Princess Anne.
Olivia Colman and Helena BC have definitely fast forwarded HM and PM into middle age.
Other thing is, they both have brown eyes. I thought they would be wearing contact lenses as especially Clare Foy was so expressive with her huge blue eyes.

QueenOfTheAndals · 18/09/2018 12:35

HM and PM weren't even 40 when Churchill died! No offence to Olivia and Helena but they don't look young enough!

OP posts:
CurlyWurlyTwirly · 18/09/2018 12:56

I agree, Clare Foy & Vanessay Kirby were so young and gorgeous; it’s a stretch to jump to late 40 something hbc & oc.
However, the Crown is always brilliant so it will be nice to see the 60s / 70s through the producer / directors eyes

DontCallMeCharlotte · 18/09/2018 13:04

Olivia Colman looks more like Vanessa Kirby I thought. I have no doubt HBC will be fabulous though.

Now I don't wish to worry anyone, but if you scroll down to the second picture of Max... keep going, past the Swedes, past the Lux's, past QM in a dog costume (yes), past Mary, bit further, past the most intriguing double tiara (want) and there is Max looking radiant in pale blue followed by an image which smacks of "walk of shame in his mother's clothing which was all I could find". I think I love her even more for leaving the house like this!

CP Vic looks even more beautiful with her hair loose (and yes, just like Mum) and I wish Mr CP Vic would quit the gel and the geeky glasses. It's like he's trying to make himself look less attractive. I bet they both look glorious when they first wake up...

beanaseireann · 18/09/2018 18:39

Don'tCallMeCharlotte
Is the picture you are referring to on the OrderofSplendour website you've linked to?
If so, what date do we look up ?

Clionba · 18/09/2018 19:19

I can't find it either, Charlotte.

DontCallMeCharlotte · 18/09/2018 19:46

Sorry!

Yes that one Paradyning, thanks.

QueenOfTheAndals · 18/09/2018 19:54

OH! Random Crown-relates factoid - I was out for a walk the other day and spotted the actress who played the Queen Mum! She has very short bleached-blonde hair - maybe to get the QM out of her system?
