Which dress do you prefer?

I need to pick a dress for my brothers wedding.

The first is in better proportion to your body and looks comfortable as well as pretty - I think you could be pulling up the straps a bit on the second one as they don’t seem to sit squarely on your shoulder line.

My first instinct was number 1 but now I'm a definite 2. It is beautiful. And goes better with the shoes.

Don't go out again. Different posters will have different opinions. Enough of us love dress 2.

I prefer dress number 2 but not on you and def not with those shoes as the patterns/lines clash. You do suit dress 1 much better and it goes with the shoes more. I’d love it if I could look as good as that in either dress! Enjoy the wedding

They're both ok. But I prefer the two dresses suggested by AspireAchieve.

Sorry, agree with pp that neither is quite right but first one fits better.
The 2nd one is too puffy in the skirt, I know it's supposed to be puffed out but the cut just doesn't fit and makes you look much bigger than you are. Also too much cleavage. Not flattering (sorry!)

I don’t think either dress is quite right for you but the first one is more flattering than the second one. You have a nice figure and the first dress shows it off, whereas the shape of the second dress is a bit matronly.

Number one shows yr figure better. The second makes you look wide. Hopefully yr pulling it together with a red bag or navy bag and red accessory? Lightweight type if pashmina or something?

The first one. I like the style of the second but it does look too long. Ot does show too much cleavage and because if the bottom looking big snd puffy and long you look bottom heavy.

The first one, definitely. I think it’s stylish and elegant on you. Definitely appropriate for a wedding. I’d add silver, rose gold or perhaps nude sandals and clutch - simple shapes.

I’ve been looking at other dresses this morning. I think I’m going to stick with the first one. I agree it’s maybe not 100% right, but nothing ever is... I was going to look for a red bag. But might order some navy shoes online and see what they look like.
It’s a week to go, so really not enough time for a complete change.
