LED light treatment

montenuit · 15/06/2018 08:17

Yesterday i had a complimentary LED light session at the beauty salon.

OMG my skin - redness gone down, pores disappeared.

Am so tempted to do a course. So expensive though. Has anyone else used it? Is it worth it? How many do you need to do and how often for it to have a long term effect?

princesstiasmum · 23/07/2018 10:40

Arranged to return my mask, will look at others now,

TelephoneThing · 24/07/2018 17:35

I just bought the Project E Beauty mask... then found this thread. Will be interested to hear about everyone's results.

I bought mine from Amazon. A word of warning... it was sent with no outer packaging - just the shrinkwrapped box with an address sticker. I live in an apartment building where parcels are delivered to reception... so now the concierge and half my neighbours know I've bought a "SKIN REJUVENATION PHOTON MASK" Blush .

TheFishInThePot · 24/07/2018 20:50

Oh no! That's the one I've been looking at. Definitely needs to be ordered the day before my day off.

princesstiasmum · 24/07/2018 21:49

I was hoping there would be more posts from people who had bought these, to see how they were getting on with them,
I am not sure now whether to order another or a hand held device
I have looked on ebay and there is a lot more choice
Also more choice of ones with neck attachments

princesstiasmum · 24/07/2018 21:52

Bought mine from Amazon ,by the way, came well packed in cardboard box .plus nice inner box and cloth bag

princesstiasmum · 24/07/2018 21:53

Hester any news on your new one,is it any better?

HesterHare · 24/07/2018 21:55

So my original one started off proper red and the lights and glow went a definite orange after a few minutes. I'm away currently so hoping my new one has arrived when I get back.

princesstiasmum · 24/07/2018 22:45

Oh ok, hope this one is better,

princesstiasmum · 26/07/2018 16:05

It has gone very quiet on the masks front,so how is everyone getting on with theirs ,anyone seen any results yet?As said in my previous post,i have returned mine, and ordered a different one from Ebay
I was contemplating getting a hand held red light RF device instead, but will give the mask another go first
Hope all are seeing improvement
I am afraid i am quite sceptical, as have tried a few different things with not much changing,

whatamidoingwrong2018 · 26/07/2018 16:19

I haven't been using mine as much Blush I might go and dig it out now

HappyKatieA · 26/07/2018 16:33

I haven't used mine for a week or so, and I've come up in little bumps (I've been an acne sufferer for years), so I do think it works!
It's also definitely taken some of my pigmentation and scarring away.
It's just too hot here at the moment to contemplate putting something over my face 😂😂

princesstiasmum · 26/07/2018 17:07

That sounds goodKatie it must be working if your spots cleaed and come back after not using it
It must be hotter where you are,it has cooled down quite a lot here, and in fact looks quite stormy
I am in the north and dont think its been as hot as some places,
I dont have acne, but hoping wrinkles will decrease, although they are not deep

HappyKatieA · 26/07/2018 18:09

I really do think it's helped my skin! Good luck with yours, I'm hoping to attack the wrinkles once my acne and scarring are no more 😉
I've just heard on the local radio that it was 33.9 today, and won't go below 21 / 22 tonight 😬😲

princesstiasmum · 26/07/2018 23:37

Had a drop of rain here, well a quick but heavy shower really, overcast morning, hot afternoon,
Hoping my new mask comes this weekend
Whatever the cost all the wavelengths seem to be the same

princesstiasmum · 04/08/2018 09:59

Anyone got any updates as to how you are getting on with your masks?
I sent my first one back, as it seemed to go orange instead of red, but my new one seems to be the same,so maybe thats how they are meant to look

itsBritneyBeach · 04/08/2018 14:21

I've been using my mask once a day 15 min blue and 15 min red, and Duac once at night and my skin has cleared up fantastically with a vitamin E moisturiser in the mornings. However when I used both of these products separately it did nothing for me so it must be the combo!

princesstiasmum · 04/08/2018 15:38

Britney what is Duac? i use mine morning and night, about 20 minutes on red, 10, on green, [on first mask] but white on this one,
The green light on the fgirst one was to double the effects of the red, but on this one it says omething different and to use white to double the effects of red, not noticed any difference up to now, but my daughter thinks it has made a differnce so sdhe has bought one too
I have also bought a Lightstim RF hand held device, after reading badlydrawncats post on here, so will see
I dont have acne, so cant say if it would make any difference that way for me

princesstiasmum · 04/08/2018 17:26

Cant believe it, my new mask has 7 colours, but just used it and yellow, green and white are not working, and energy isnt changing on red,
Hmm

itsBritneyBeach · 04/08/2018 17:55

Duac is a prescribed acne cream :)

badlydrawncat · 05/08/2018 00:06

Lightstims are LED devices not RF devices princesstiasmum. They're basically a hand-held version of a mask so you can use them on other bots of the body too. I'm pretty sure you know that and it was a mistype, but in case anyone else gets confused I thought I'd mention it..

babyinthacorner · 05/08/2018 00:32

Just found this thread and reading with interest as like UpperWallop I have a lumie clear that I bought years ago to treat my adult acne. I do remember having some success with it, but haven't used it for years as my skin has calmed down after having babies, although I still have the occasional flair up. Have never realised it could be used for wrinkles though... that's very interesting!

ParadiseLaundry · 05/08/2018 09:18

@itsBritneyBeach that's great news! So pleased you are seeing good results!

I had a bit of a blip last week when I had a breakout just above my jawline. I think this might have been because I started using it when everyone was up and I was talking so wasn't getting the time with it pressed against my face as I use to use it in bed before everyone got up so could press it against my whole face properly iyswim.

It's mostly cleared up now though which would have taken weeks before.

itsBritneyBeach · 05/08/2018 09:21

@ParadiseLaundry ahhh how annoying! At least it's mostly cleared up now though which is fantastic. Finally something that works!
