LED light treatment

Yesterday i had a complimentary LED light session at the beauty salon.

OMG my skin - redness gone down, pores disappeared.

Am so tempted to do a course. So expensive though. Has anyone else used it? Is it worth it? How many do you need to do and how often for it to have a long term effect?

Well tried mine last night but the red turned to orange,
Anyone elses do this?and does it matter ?

Princess mine did too. I'm sure I read somewhere that that's ok. Any of the more experienced users find this?

It seemed the higher energy it was on the lighter it went,and more orange
Think read on Amazon that this happens,will check again

Mine stays red the whole time - my skin getting better and better every day - evening right out and looks plump and smooth - bloody fantastic. Best thing ever bought. No new spots since starting and skin looking less crepey especially round eyes.

Which one did you get angel? It is quite big for me as I have a small faces doesn't touch everywhere

I got the Project E from amazon one - there's a link up thread - I keep it pressed against my face and tgat way it minimises eye exposure too.

Mine (e-project) has been staying red when I've done it for 10mins but did it for 15 tonight and it turned orange towards the end, hoping that doesn't affect the results Hmm

I hope it doesnt affect results too,i am going to try to use it morning and night, if possible
I have discovered that if i turn it upside down it will cover my neck as well, keeping eyes tightly closed of course
It fits closer to my face as well,
Mine is the Beauty Star, it only stayed red for a few minutes, but i thought it was because i turned it up
I must be imagining it,as only used it 3 times now, but the deepish lines at the side of my mouth look less, , [probably wishful thinking] but if its really good and works,i will use it every day [forever] Grin

I've emailed the Amazon seller to query it, I suppose I could use it 10 mins morn/10 mins eve if it is meant to stay red and they refuse an exchange...

Hester i am pleased you have contacted Amazon,i was thinking of doing that myself, i did read that someone else said theirs did, and i dont think it affects it,if it does i will send mine back,as red should mean red
I will see what response you get, i think yours is the same as mine,so could be a fault
I did see their was more than one seller ,selling these,one was £59 something,the other £52,

Just looked at reviews,some people have asked about it turning orange,and the seller says its normal in one answer,and should stay red in another answer, she says it depends on the batch, but cant find where to actually email the seller

Glad yours has arrived Britney does your mask turn orange on red? i think yours is like mine
They are a bit heavy though, and quite large,had to hold mine against my face half lying down,and a bit painful on nose area

@princesstiasmum I got the £52 one and no my light stayed red but I only used it for 10 minutes and blue for 10 minutes!

Yes it's not very comfortable with the head strap, I might lie down fully tomorrow and try and relax!

I found it really uncomfortable at first but it's fine now, I don't know if you just get used to it or you sort of find the best way to use. I usually lie on my stomach in bed propped up on my elbows and hold it against my chin with my hand. I also find it more comfortable without the eye shields but I can't imagine the light is great for your eyes!

I've just used mine again, and my red light turned orange after a while.
I lie on my back and use the time for meditation /breathing exercises, which I need to do for a medical condition.
I do find it heavy, but I think I'll get used to it.
Do you all have goggles? I didn't purchase any. I didn't really think about it, I just close my eyes.

Has anyone else got hyperpigmentation and is using the red? Have you found it darkened it? I am currently using green and yellow but really want to use the red for anti ageing

I dont have yellow on mine,is yours one with 7 colours ?
I have just red,green, and blue
I am just going to use it again, and see if it goes orange again

I don’t think it should be going orange, mine never has.

Is there evidence the red darkens hyper pigmentation.

Yes I got the 7 colours one.
From what I've deduced online the red works best with 'amber' light too for maximum benefits. I don't know if the yellow light on mine is classed as amber but it might account for why some red lights are turning orange after a bit.

I have the 7 colour too.
I think on reflection that my red light just looks softer after 20 mins, which I think LED light tends to do?
My pigmentation definitely hasn't become darker, and I use 20 mins of red, I've done it three times.
