Should I cut my hair into a short bob?

I've loved the look of shorter hair on people lately, and I am toying with the idea of cutting my hair into a short bob. I don't have that long hair at the moment, reaches my collarbone. I love the look of Pandora Sykes' bob, as well as Rosamund Pike's when she had it in the bob style for a film.

Have any of you regretted cutting your hair into a bob, or do you think I should just go for it, it will grow back if I hate it?

I love it, easy to style and look way less grumpy than my long 'drag it back into a ponytail' look.

I want something like this

Hair thick but inclined towards frizz. Easier to properly dry short hair though. I might just go for it though knowing that hair does grow.

I love me a bob and they do not have to be frumpcity at all. I have very fine hair, am 46 and think/hope I can rock a bob - photo is a bit grown out and in desperate need of a cut and colour. Got caught in rain but still got away with it, I hope

I've had a bob haircut since about 14 when I wanted hair like the singer from Swing Out Sister. I think bobs look great and I don't know what s mumbob is either.

It's just really boring hair and not in any way individual to the person. In my opinion, of course.
