Yes , I know, I know.
You don't want to think about it.
This time last year I hadn't even had my holiday (I went in Oct half term) this year , I have no holiday to console me (visiting parents for the 4th time this year soon)

So:
its getting near 100 Days.
I need to get on board with weight loss/sorting my belly or I'm going to be looking in disgust at my middle in December.

I need to sort out some good winter clothes but I don't need thick layers because I hot flush like a bloody oven. While everyone else is in Parkas and gloves, I might button up my cardi .

I'll be back in a few days with A List.

I'm in. Or will be once I've had baby boy. At most it'll be another 5 weeks (am 37 weeks at present).

I want to feel myself again afterwards. I've had a fairly good/lucky pregnancy and have put on weight (only about 2 stone) but still extra weight which will need to shift and be toned - but no rush.

I know once baby is here I'll need to take care of myself so will am going to try and make more of an effort.

So my first few on the list:

Drink more water without needing to owe all the goddam time hopefully
Keep caffeine to a minimum
Multivitamin with probiotic every day
Cleanse tone moisturise face - day and night
Moisturise body - try every day but...may not happen
Go outside at least once a day and try and get my 10000 steps.
Food log - limit snacking - limit cake and biscuits. Eat better.

Hello Princesses!

I've actually done well this year - lost 2 stone and hoping for another 2 before New Year.

I have a big holiday in a month so trying to get a chunk off before then. In fact, I'm "princessing" for that if you see what I mean...I'm growing in my body hair etc in preparation for the the pre-holiday full body wax! Can't wait as I already feel like a gorilla! I also have appointments to get my head hair and eyebrows done. Grin

Me! I'm in!! We're planning on going skiing at Christmas so I'd like to be fit and princessed ready for it. Could ideally do with losing a couple of stone but anything would be good! I'm useless with nails, hair, make up but in ready to be taught :)

HolyShmoly · 11/09/2017 22:34

I'm in please. Just started a health kick as TTC which includes taking up a 3 month gym membership that's next door to work and does lunchtime classes. If I'm not duffered by Christmas I would like to look fabulous.
I'm planning on getting my hair cut and died and new glasses within the next month or so.
I already face and hair mask every so often, I'd like to move this up to a regular weekly thing.

SunshineOutdoors · 11/09/2017 22:36

I'm in! Doing better with weight and toning up gradually but need to add all the skin, drinking water, takin get make up off etc. Going to start small and run cleansing wipe on face then put on moisturiser before bed tonight

BroomstickOfLove · 11/09/2017 22:41

Hate the term "princessing", but I'm totally up for 100 days of physical and mental self-care, which is pretty much the same thing. I will have to plan my budget, as I generally fail due to lack of cash and energy in November.

Lanaa · 11/09/2017 22:42

Oh yes me please! I princessed up for my holiday this year, but when I got there I attached the buffet and cocktails. Now I'm back at work and looking a bit rough.

Will do a list later.

Huntzberger · 11/09/2017 22:52

I'm in! I'll have pretty basic stuff on my list this year. Lost some weight over the summer but have got caught in a rut of comfort eating and self-sabotage which is making me feel rubbish again. I'll tidy up my thoughts but essentially:

  1. 30 minutes exercise a day - Popsugar Fitness channel on YT good for this
  2. Stop eating so much shite
  3. Go to the dentist & hygienist, then stay on top of flossing etc.
  4. Take care of my skin - take make up off in particular
  5. Put down my phone - stop mindlessly scrolling
ConstantlyCooking · 11/09/2017 23:08

Can I join please? My low maintenance, slightly boho vibe has become ageing hippy bag lady since turning 50 and I need to become higher maintenance Grin

SweetLuck · 11/09/2017 23:57

Oh yes, me too please! Need to lose half a stone.

Ninjakittysmells · 12/09/2017 00:06

Yipppeee! I was just thinking about this the other day. I've lost 2 stone this summer so feeling like I'm actually maybe going to achieve some princessing this year!

My list:

2-3 litres of water a day
Stick to diet plan with 1 week break every 6 weeks (it's super low calorie and I can only do 6 weeks before I cry!)
Make up off every night and use my creams
Bootcamp 3 times a week
Start my tooth whitening again

ememem84 · 12/09/2017 07:04

Ooh yes. Teeth whitening. Add that to my list. I buy the expensive toothpastes but forget to use them.

Chestervase1 · 12/09/2017 07:17

Can I join too please. I need to be more high maintenance my low maintenance isn't working anymore. Need to raise my game

Sodaface · 12/09/2017 07:55

I am starting today, cutting my carbs back as I've been overloading on them for the last month!

Tomorrow I'll think about a tan

Bufferingkisses · 12/09/2017 07:57

Ooh I'd like to join!

I need to concentrate on getting good meals cooked every day (far to much junk and takeaway this year)

Up exercise with a view to losing a bit of weight slowly (I'm recovering after an op so can't rush at this oh, I also need to find scales to make myself a bit more accountable!)

Continue/up facial routine - I'm 40 and this is the first time I've had one Blush so cleanse/moisturize daily, use spf , exfoliate regularly, use face mask weekly.

Same for body, for the first time in my life I am getting rid of those horrible bumps on my legs and upper arms - I didn't even know you could get rid!

Basically I have 4 more weeks off work to kickstart myself and establish a routine then I can introduce the excercise/toning I need!

PrimalLass · 12/09/2017 08:23

I'm in. Am focusing on my skin and losing a stone. Have started cooking properly again after a v busy summer. Will be off out for a long fast walk this morning.

RosemaryHoight · 12/09/2017 08:30
  1. Drink water 2 litres per day
  2. Eat 2x more fruit or veg per day
  3. Take vitamins and minerals d3 and iron
  4. Exercise regularly
  1. Body brush
  2. Use foot cream and cotton socks
  3. Nail care
  4. Facial at home once a week
  5. Eyebrows keep tidy
10. Use anti angling serum

11.One early night per week, 9pm.
12. Hot water and lemon every morning.

I think that's all for me for now, I didn't want to put any 'don'ts' on my list. If I did it would be a lot longer.

RosemaryHoight · 12/09/2017 08:32
  1. Anti aging. I can control myself around fish thank heaven.
missyB1 · 12/09/2017 08:45

Yes please! I need to watch the middle age spread which is suddenly creeping up around my (fast disappearing) waist!
Here's my plan

Zumba twice a week,
Practising plank position at home very day
lots of long dog walks
limit snacks
no alcohol in the week

BeforeWeFade · 12/09/2017 09:13

Yay! I'm in! Currently pregnant and just beginning to feel like a functioning human again after the typical first trimester all day morning sickness. Now that it is easing off, I want to do all I can to feel good for the rest of the pregnancy Grin

Trulymadlymotherly · 12/09/2017 09:26

im in. Not sure about my list yet though. I'm working the most antisocial rota at the minute.
So far
1-fringe maintenance
2-contacts (I'm on this one alteady)
3-more water. I might have to start at 1L/day and work up
4-fewer snacks. I've been using shift work as an excuse to eat badly and it's showing.
5-take me make up off before bed 😳
6-pedicures. Probably home ones. Can't wear polish on finger nails at work.
7-a little exercise. Any. Some. Seriously 🤦🏻‍♀️

Looking forward to getting some other ideas

MrsReacher85 · 12/09/2017 09:27

I'm in! It was my birthday last month and I'd decided to do something similar as didn't want to feel as shit on my next birthday.

Baby is 18 months old now, so no excuse for the lingering half a stone of baby weight. I've started doing c25k running, and trying to drink more water but that's all so far!

SleepingBooty · 12/09/2017 11:43

Count me in.
I've been improving my eating habits over the last 2 weeks and I'm now in the zone.
I manicure once a week so this is now a habit and I already visit the hairdresser every month for roots touch up.

I have a pamper night on a Thursday where I soak in the bath, face mask, body scrub and then laser hair afterwards.

Joined the gym (unheard of for me) yesterday and worked hard there yesterday and today.

@RosemaryHoight

Love that typo in number 10 on your listGrin
