Yes , I know, I know.
You don't want to think about it.
This time last year I hadn't even had my holiday (I went in Oct half term) this year , I have no holiday to console me (visiting parents for the 4th time this year soon)

So:
its getting near 100 Days.
I need to get on board with weight loss/sorting my belly or I'm going to be looking in disgust at my middle in December.

I need to sort out some good winter clothes but I don't need thick layers because I hot flush like a bloody oven. While everyone else is in Parkas and gloves, I might button up my cardi .

I'll be back in a few days with A List.

@MiniDoofa I’m trying....this morning I’ve managed a shower. Moisturiser (face and body) and am dressed. I’ve drunk a glass of water. And as we had a bit of a tough night....I’ve had about eleventy billion cups of tea!

Oh and I’ve remembered to clean my teeth something I forgot to do yesterday

@ememem84
That's all good well done!!
Tea full of antioxidants or something magical I'm sure😀👍🏻

@MiniDoofa absolutely....it’s um...green tea with unicorn dust, antioxidants, goodness, happiness and water from the fountain of youth lies. It’s all lies. It’s builders strength tetley with sugar and lovely jersey cow milk

I’d like to join:

  1. More sleep - go to bed early and accept if I have to get up at 6 then staying up late is not a good idea
  2. Water - I hardly drink any so 3 large glasses min per day
  3. Exercise - circuits class 30 mins 3x per week and walk for 30 mins on other days
  4. Paint toenails and redo when they get ratty rather than leaving until the polish almost grows off Blush
  5. File and shape fingernails
  6. GIVE UP SMOKING

Since Sunday, I've had no sweets/biscuits/ice-cream or any BadForMe things.
Halo

It's been a blardy long week !
I'm eating Oatibix Flakes (more filling than Rice Crispies and healthier than Crunchy Nut) for breakfast, then no snacks till dinner .

Not sure if I can keep this up a whole month but I've made a start .

I'm late to the party, but I'm going to join in. I aim to:
Drink more water (3 large glasses) and less coffee and stop eating biscuits.
Cleanse tone and moisturise twice a day.
Weekly facial.
Weekly pedicure.
Body moisturizer every day.
More exercise, I aim for 10,000 steps everyday.
Dye my hair more often, instead of letting the colour fade and grey roots come through.

I had my brows waxed and tinted on Monday so need to maintain those.
How is everyone else doing?

I had toast and honey (proper white cutting loaf, sliced and done under the grill) for brunch.........

It was bloody lovely

Bread is one of the main bloat inducers for me (IBS) so its a rare indulgence (like every 6-8 weeks rare) but after this Week Of Good , I needed something to reward myself.
It was eaten with great relish, plate and everything, sat at the table with my mug of soya coffee.........

Now , need to tackle the Yeti like body .

74 days I think.

DH bought me a StarBar (bless him , he used to buy them for me when we were winching )

I'm donating it (through gritted teeth) to DD, I'm on a Roll of Goodness for October.

17,000 steps

I didn't weigh myself on 1st Oct but I did jump on the scales (fully clothed) at work eek

I feel trimmer and less bloaty but no hard evidence unfortunately that I might/might not have lost weight.

I had a McD Veg Burger tonight , flipping lush Grin

I'm in! Have finally lost around 3 stone this year and now working on maintaining that and trying to look more polished and healthy in general! Things I am doing:
Drinking lots of water
Alcohol just once or twice a month
Multivitamins every day
Proper skincare
Keeping active, walking everywhere and yoga twice a week
Keeping an eye on my portion sizes

I want to start taking better care of the skin on my body, doing my nails and getting my hair trimmed/coloured regularly as they are all things I tend to forget about!

I'm also stating to build a decent capsule wardrobe and really thinking about the item I'm buying. Partly because I'm on maternity leave and funds are limited and partly because I had accumulated a wardrobe full of things I didn't actually like!

Can I join? I'm on day 17 of not smoking which I'm thrilled about. I've quit excessive booze too mostly drinking one or two rather than too much and never drinking more than one glass of wine!! On day 7 of cleanse and moisturise routine morning and night and skin is looking fabulous. Doing a version of a double cleanse with hot flannel and finally using the serums which I've been stockpiling. Next it's weight loss. So for the next week from tomorrow no junk food allowed... I said it here so I've got to stick to it... just started my period so I'm giving myself the chance to eat some chocolate today!!! Keep it up everyone!

Very dis-heartening. I'm feeling trimmer (waist and belly) but my scales are stubbornly refusing to give me hope.

I was 70kg on the work scales (and 11st on my home ones, I can't do metric) but last check it went near 11.4 and that was first thing in the morning.
Why after 3 weeks of good am I heavier Angry

I'm getting near the end of Stoptober (or whatever its called)

Yesterday I did 14k steps but Blush had a rubbish tea (due to where I was) vegetarian fast food/snack food , ah well.

This month has been a revelation though, might eek it out till the end of November ?

I have a hairpack on, might try and catch up with all the neglect (facepack/ hair removal type)

How are you all getting along?
I've been very good with the body moisturizering every morning. I've also managed to increase my water intake.
Still need to work on the facials and pedicures.
Hair needs doing so plan on sorting that Tuesday, normally I would leave it for another 4-6 weeks.

Bumping this - there's 4 weeks to go >

Hair - cut so should be fine for Christmas
Dye - cannot flippping find it Hmm I have some. I have time to do it today. I have DD to help me. I have no dye and I CBA going out to get some. Ahh well.

I have the M&S Leopard coat (the slightly darker one ) for swishy loveliness (even though DD mutters Pat Butcher at me, I reckon I'm more Kat Slater ! )

So ...Plan:

hair mask
use up some of the dregs in the bathroom
nice bath (I bought some of the Waitrose bathfoam, its £1 a bottle so not high end luxe but nice smell )
some intensive cream on my hands and nails, I split 2 yesterday and had to file them Sad they just snap in cold weather

buy some hairdye

I need to fix my hair (cut, color) it’s horrendous at the moment ..grown out undercut and horrible layers and grown out roots. I want to be blond again!

My diet and lifestyle habits are pretty good but I need to step it up with more strength training

More water and avocados.

I need to do something about my super thin face/sunken cheeks Sad. My skin is great but the loss of volume is aging.
