I have a wedding to attend at the weekend. I've ordered 2 dresses, which one looks better? Ignore the kiss marks on the mirror from 4yo DD Hmm

Dress 1. It's more of a statement dress, whereas the second one is oft worn style at weddings.

WhatwouldOliviaPopedo · 04/09/2017 17:23

Oops, missed update!

theredjellybean · 04/09/2017 17:45

ooooh dress 3 is fabulous
love dropped waist and pleated skirt, young and interesting looking but dress is classy overall and just looks really special

i want it now !

ThomasRichard · 04/09/2017 17:55

I hope it doesn't look cheap because it certainly isn't!

For those who asked, I'm 29.

Thankyou to those posters concerned for my safety. The mirror's been at the top of the stairs for the past 8 years without mishap but yes, I do look rather close to the edge in those pics!

Love dress 3!!

Ohyesiam · 04/09/2017 17:58

Dress 2 shows your great figure

badbadhusky · 04/09/2017 18:01

Dress 2 looks more grown-up and shows off your figure nicely.

badbadhusky · 04/09/2017 18:01

(Dress 2 if you're looking to hide your figure, e.g. conceal a pregnancy)

badbadhusky · 04/09/2017 18:05

I just realised there was a dress 3. I don't like it in that image, though it will probably suit your figure (now I've provided a complete response.)

polyhymnia · 04/09/2017 18:32

3 is definitely the best. Good choice. 1 is too tent-like and 2 rather 'mother of the bride' ( not in a good way).

ThomasRichard · 04/09/2017 19:13

Thanks all. I'll update when dress 3 arrives.

Love "the dress" (a.k.a dress 3!) I'm sure it'll be fab on x

AgathaF · 04/09/2017 19:19

Dress 3 is definitely my favourite.

Merida83 · 04/09/2017 19:25

Dress 2. Looks lovely.

PovertyJetset · 04/09/2017 19:33

Thank goodness dress 3 is in the mix- it's far nicer.

lovingmatleave · 04/09/2017 20:12

Dress 3 looks good. I have just read the whole thread and would have said dress 2 until I heard saw you were 29!. it is a style for a much older person (speaking as one myself)

ThomasRichard · 04/09/2017 20:34

I thought that too lovingmatleave but it was so comfy.

Next step: how do I do my hair so it stays presentable all day, and how do I keep my makeup from sliding off? So many questions; who knew it was this complicated to dress for someone else's wedding?!

Both lovely, but dress 2 is gorgeous and looks great on you

NachoAddict · 04/09/2017 21:27

I liked dress 2 but dress 3 is very promising.

ilovewelshrarebit123 · 04/09/2017 22:01

Dress 2 is gorgeous, have fun Smile

vichill · 04/09/2017 22:03

1

OrlandaFuriosa · 04/09/2017 22:14

Dress 3 brilliant.

I was going to say: for whom are you dressing? Confidence amongst women, dress 1, pulling men, dress 2. They are conventional beings who would love looking at your figure in dress 2. Dress 3 does both.

loopyloo87 · 04/09/2017 22:18

Dress 2

PUGaLUGS · 04/09/2017 22:30

Without a doubt dress 2.

Ellapaella · 04/09/2017 22:31

Both lovely but dress 1 has more personality and I think is more eye catching. Also very flattering on you. I'd look at you in that dress and think you looked great, dress number 2 is nice but not eye catching.
