I have a wedding to attend at the weekend. I've ordered 2 dresses, which one looks better? Ignore the kiss marks on the mirror from 4yo DD Hmm

Dress 1 is really nice, unusual and suits you. I don't know if dress 2 just doesn't photograph well but I think it's hideous. So, yes, dress 1 all the way!

ShmooBooMoo · 04/09/2017 13:26

Being really honest: dress one looks like the material was soaked in tea solution and then someone threw blobs of trifle at it. It looks really dingey and old-fashioned to me. Dress 1 looks fresh and pretty without being twee, certainly doesn't look like a 'concealing lumps or bumps' kind of dress to me - you can tell you have a lovely figure in it!

GentleOnMyMind · 04/09/2017 13:30

Dress 2. Both are lovely but dress 2 shows your figure better.

SummerRoberts · 04/09/2017 13:31

Dress 2. You have a lovely figure!

bettybyebye · 04/09/2017 13:31

Definitely the 1st one - second one is very ageing. And fwiw, I always discount my DH's opinion on clothes as he hasn't got a clue!

bababia · 04/09/2017 13:33

Definitely dress 1. You look more comfortable in it and it is a far nicer and less OAP looking dress!

Peregrina · 04/09/2017 13:34

Dress 1. We are no help are we? More or less evenly split.

Needalifeoverhaul · 04/09/2017 13:36

Go with the one you love op...you'll feel more comfortable on the day. Trust your own instinct.

SilverBirchTree · 04/09/2017 13:37

Oh gosh, I've changed my mind. Dress 2 is a bit aging compared to Dress 1... can I vote for Dress 1, but altered to be more form fitting?

StereophonicallyChallenged · 04/09/2017 13:38

My vote is for dress two!

CreativeMumma · 04/09/2017 13:39

I think dress 2 is more flattering but if you like 1 more then go for it.

Mayhemmumma · 04/09/2017 13:39

2 without the bow. Be careful on the stairs!

Heyx · 04/09/2017 13:41

No 2 with higher heels.

BusterGonad · 04/09/2017 13:41

I like dress one as it's fresher, dress two seems a bit old fashioned to me! Blush

RooDaisy · 04/09/2017 13:43

Number 2

Schmoochypoos · 04/09/2017 13:44

Dress 2

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 04/09/2017 13:44

Dress 2

retainertrainer · 04/09/2017 13:48

Dress 1,it's fresher,more stylish,bit different,brighter. I love it!

TonicAndTonic · 04/09/2017 13:48

Dress 2, but without the ribbon

I would like dress 1 better on a larger person, but you should show off your figure

I think @SilverBirchTree hit the nail on the head there!

GreenTulips · 04/09/2017 13:51

Dress 1 more up to date fashion wise

(Why are touball suggesting she 'shows off her figure? - she's not a ornament and last time I looked it was 2017)

Lobsterquadrille2 · 04/09/2017 13:54

I think dress 1 is very flattering and much more sophisticated.

dontquotemeondailymail · 04/09/2017 13:55

Dress 2 but lose the ribbon!

CountFosco · 04/09/2017 13:56

It's not the law that a woman should always show off her body. You suit both but I prefer dress 1, the looser fit is more fashionable, dress 2 is a bit dated with it's body con look. And the ribbon is superfluous.

PasDeDeux · 04/09/2017 13:57

I honestly think the shape of dress 1 is frumpy and it swamps your figure. Dress 2 is a lot more flattering but agree with others that it would be even nicer without the ribbon.

suchatiredbunny · 04/09/2017 14:01

Dress 2 without the ribbon. I really like your front doormat by the way!Grin
