I have a wedding to attend at the weekend. I've ordered 2 dresses, which one looks better? Ignore the kiss marks on the mirror from 4yo DD Hmm

I vote dress 1 Grin

Firefries · 04/09/2017 15:54

Dress 1 by far, and Gooseberry I think that's the lip smudge on the mirror OP mentions.

ThomasRichard · 04/09/2017 15:56

Gooseberry the 'steam' is actually a big smear from DD giving her reflection kisses Blush The mirror is regularly cleaned but she likes doing it!

Right. I've taken both dresses back and ordered a compromise (pic attached). It's the same fabric as dress 1 but in a different style. Fingers crossed!

Dress 2 without a doubt, it's really classy.

ILoveMyMonkey · 04/09/2017 16:08

Whoops that'll teach me not to read right to the end of the thread before posting.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 04/09/2017 16:12

Dress 2 is really classy and looks more expensive than dress 1.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 04/09/2017 16:12

Dress 3 is perfect!!Grin

GameOldBirdz · 04/09/2017 16:14

I love dress 3, OP. Well done!

But £120? Are you serious? Shock

Scribblegirl · 04/09/2017 16:16

Dress 3 looks gorgeous!

I love how your DP and male friend both said Dress 2. I can tell you categorically* that the vast majority of men ever asked to pick between a smock style dress and a fitted dress will always, always pick the fitted dress irregardless of colour, print or any other factor Grin

(* I am being flippant, in case the humour police are hanging around Wine)

travis45 · 04/09/2017 16:16

Both lovely, I'd go with different shoes.

Scribblegirl · 04/09/2017 16:16

Was £240, game, the OP's saving herself over a hundred quid!! Wink

luckylavender · 04/09/2017 16:22

Both lovely, dress 2 for me

Joinourclub · 04/09/2017 16:23

Dress 1 is better. Dress 2 is a bit ' mother of the bride'

ThomasRichard · 04/09/2017 16:24

:o I haven't sorted out shoes yet! I'm flying with hand luggage only and flying straight back into the office (not literally!) on Monday morning so will need to take those shoes anyway though.

To the pp who admired the mat, it's IKEA. Classy bird, me.

Really like your new third choice

Primrose06 · 04/09/2017 16:31

Two or three . Two looks classy and one that could get a lot of wear.

Wurlysurly · 04/09/2017 16:31

Dress 2 is gorgeous on!

happymumof4crazykids · 04/09/2017 16:32

I prefer dress 2

Tanfastic · 04/09/2017 16:41

Dress 1 - definitely.

foodiefil · 04/09/2017 16:46

Dress 2 definitely!

Sorry but dress 1 is awful 😕 imo!

girlsnames · 04/09/2017 16:53

Definitely dress 2. Shows off your wonderful figure while still saying classy. The 3rd dress you are buying looks a little cheep.

Garliccalamari · 04/09/2017 17:03

Dress 1. Dress 2 is too old fashioned imo , although it fits great.

Ness1234 · 04/09/2017 17:06

Dress 2

Loyly · 04/09/2017 17:07

Just saw your update. Dress 3 is the one, it's perfect.

Friolero · 04/09/2017 17:20

I was going to say 1 but see you've ordered a different dress - it looks lovely too!
