Reasonably priced everyday perfume

I love Chanel chance eau tendre but it's expensive so I keep it for holidays and nights out.

But I'd like something new for everyday and work wear. Normally wear clarins eau dynamisante through the winter and eau resourcesant in the summer but they don't seem to last long and people can't smell them on me.

So I'm looking for something long lasting, strong but not migraine inducing, and not as expensive as Chanel

What's your everyday fave?

I came on to say mine is Eau Dynamisante !
Get loads of compliments on it
Will watch with interest as I also love Chanel Chance Smile

MozzchopsThirty · 31/07/2017 19:44

Lidl"s Suddenly, I prefer it now to my designer ones, and I am always complimented on it. A definite budget buy. I am often asked if I am wearing coco mademoiselle the fragrance is quite similar I am told.

marinathehummingbird · 31/07/2017 19:51

Eden! They make copies (or similar scents) and start st £12 a bottle iirc... I carry one in my bag every day. The scent doesn't last as long but because it's cheap I don't mind reapplying

Recently had to break my Chanel habit due to drop in income. Tried lots of cheaper alternatives, but the only ones that really impressed were from Avon (which came as a surprise to me!). This list is a bit out of date, but still might help:

Givenchy Hot Couture is my favourite! Scent lasts ages and it's not too expensive for everyday.

Pains me to link to DM, but this might be of use too:

Ooh and Charlie Red. That's a nostalgic one!

TallulahBetty · 31/07/2017 19:53

Britney Spears - Fantasy. Never had another perfume that I myself can still smell at the end of the day, nor thay attracts so many compliments.

Somebody on here recommended arabic oils and some are really nice. Dead cheap too so worth the risk. Like this one www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00UD4DUGY/ref=yo_ii_pd_dx_mr_1?ie=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00UD4DUGY&pd_rd_r=WKQAD0KWZ4EWKQ4GXQ79&pd_rd_w=2MOFk&pd_rd_wg=Xm7Qm&psc=1&refRID=WKQAD0KWZ4EWKQ4GXQ79&tag=mumsnetforum-21

I get compliments whenever I wear Zara Oriental. It lasts and lasts and smells very expensive. But it's a tenner for a massive bottle. Zara have loads of perfumes as well.

mrwalkensir · 31/07/2017 20:27

M&S do some good ones. Not sure what they've renamed Isis as, but that was a very good version of L'Eau d'Issey

FatGirlWithChocolate · 31/07/2017 20:35

Next Summer Sun, £12 for 100ml EDP and a thing of shower gel. It's lovely!

I came here to say Eden like a PP. They 'match' more expensive brands and I think it lasts for ages.

SukiTheDog · 31/07/2017 20:47

Paul Smith Rose

CakeNinja · 31/07/2017 20:52

I was going to say jo Malone lime, basil and mandarin, but I buy it duty free so it's about £60 rather than £80 which feels bargainous!
My other favourite perfume is more expensive so the JM seems comparatively cheap.

Ollivander84 · 31/07/2017 20:57

Perfume parlpur do dupes which are good

Liz38 · 31/07/2017 20:59

A friend gave me daisy by marc jacobs and i love that. Really light and fresh.

Ktown · 31/07/2017 21:00

M and s 'mono theme' are citrus and great

MozzchopsThirty · 31/07/2017 21:03

Someone in work mentioned the Zara fragrances so will have a look at those

Jo malone is more expensive than my gorgeous Chanel so that's a definite no

Thanks for all the suggestions

MozzchopsThirty · 31/07/2017 21:03

I buy the travel sizes of Chance on eBay. You get about a month's supply for a fiver.
