Dh wants to buy me a gift and I'm not sure what I want . I quite like the mulberry Freya . I have an Antony already and I like it . I fancy something a bit more handbaggy.

I have just been (very) lucky enough to receive this beauty - it's absolutely gorgeous. Mulberry Camden Small, in Midnight.

The medium lily is lovely or what about the camden? The Bayswater tote is great too but s bit heavy. I'm hoping for a new mulberry under the tree tomorrow 🙏🏼

WispyWindy · 24/12/2016 21:47

I'd get a bottega veneta bag in the sale, but depends if you want an every day handbag or special occasion one

WhooooAmI24601 · 24/12/2016 21:48

You know what, if you have the money it's entirely your choice if you want and expensive bag. I only ever buy Mulberry bags because I have a tiny bit of an addiction, folk think it's mental but I pay my bills, feed and clothe the DCs and we have a roof over our heads, so the Mulberry bags aren't doing anyone out of anything.

I'd go for an oxblood Bayswater because they're beautiful. I went through an LV Neverfull phase and have the damier and the azure MM's but rarely use either any more. They're lovely bags for everyday use though.

TheresAGhostYouFools · 24/12/2016 21:50

It's not huge, about right for everyday use. You could easily fit a newspaper /iPad / book in it. Here's DD holding it to give you an idea of scale - she's 8 and 125cm tall Smile

I'd have a mulberry all day long - any style and colour!! I only dream of ever being able to buy one brand new! Happy new bag Xmas Grin

ScarletForYa · 24/12/2016 21:54

A hobo bag.

Francescaestee · 24/12/2016 21:55

I would have the new bayswater in oxblood. apparently the leather doesn't scratch so much. happy bag shopping

EagleIsland · 24/12/2016 21:56

Gun toting mamas, or Carhartt

dazzlingdeborahrose · 24/12/2016 21:58

I have the oxblood mulberry tote bag. The two pics you posted are the same bag. It's a great bag. Goes with tons of stuff, easy to carry, fits loads in. I also have the daria hobo bag. Coach bags get good reviews also.

minsmum · 24/12/2016 22:02

I prefer the look of the freya but they are all beautiful

QueenyLaverne · 24/12/2016 22:03

imjessie · 24/12/2016 22:03

I love the Clifton in black, much prefer across the body bags. Simple, understated and classic. It's my 40th in May and I am going to go to Selfridges and buy myself one.

ChocoChou · 24/12/2016 22:17

I love bags!!
If it's in your price range I think as a PP mentioned a Bottega Veneta (on sale) would be amazing. Such good quality leather.
I wear a Chanel boy bag for every day use Blush honestly price per wear is down to pennies now and it still looks brand new 5 years on. I love it.
Yes many people may say you should spend the money on a holiday or something more sensible but hey, you want a bag. So get a bag!!! Are you near London ? Could you go to the harrods sale one day??

foreverandalways · 24/12/2016 22:22

Mulberry......definitely Mulberry x

OopsDearyMe · 24/12/2016 22:25

A primary £10 job and a holiday away with the kids jeez

Crispbutty · 24/12/2016 22:28

Read the thread ffs... Op isn't asking if she should get a bag instead of a holiday.
