My day has been very social but rather unglamorous. And I am falling behind on Christmas tasks. Absolutely knackered, will slap on some products, watch TV and fall asleep.

I have another empty! I rotated out a Dr Organic snail gel eye serum from my travel bag and it is done too!!! I found this a little grainy - the snail gel mask is ace though!

Not an empty but just found and binned a Touche Eclat found at bottom of box smelling rank. Discovered a brand new spare at the same time, had forgotten it was there!

2 sachets of shampoo and conditioner used up, shampoo was a bit meh. Clarissa foaming cleanser ready to be snipped open. Sanex deodorant used up.

A Bert Bees Night Cream sample gone. It felt a little heavy for me so would not purchase.

Advent calendar was lovely body wash today - already made a start on it. Makes such a difference when you wash with something you like the smell of

Off to mum's to do mammoth Christmas food shop!!!

Counting the minutes until I can leave work.

I am chucking (well will see if mum wants it) a brand new Laura Mercier lippie having tried it for the first time as the colour isn't right onme at all. I am brunette cool toned and pinky, plum tones are usually best, but this is pinky orange on the lips although was nice on my hand. It came in a beauty box so at leasst i didn't pay much for it. Mum is a now grey ex ginger so it should be better for her.

Half an hour to go....

My day is over (after a busy morning of zillions of errands, I left after lunch) and I am feeling pretty distrutto.
Have done a few loads of laundry, bought Christmas food and hauled it home and dealed with a childcare disaster

So I found my rings in the shower.... and then today lost a wee diamond from my wedding band FFS!!

I finished today after epic shift but nails are painted, Lidl shop done and even finished 3 things in shower this am. Whoop.
Dull fructis shampoo, odd conditioner that has been going 6 mths and tbs cranberry body polish. Made me happy!

I have made in roads into scented candle stash and currenty just have one left!!! Have just lit.. it is only 4 years old!!

Scented candle here too - Malle's Café Society that makes even my kitchen seem cosmopolitan and glamorous! I was dead tired last night and the holidays ahead seemed like a insurmountable mountain but the most crucial things are done and I am starting to relax.

Mini Listerine mouthwash gone, 6/10 items from New Year list are gone!

I'm down a bottle of body lotion, three bottles of serum, a rose water spray, a volumising spray and a tiny bottle of shower oil. And I've wrapped up 2 hand creams for my DM for Xmas. I'm also sitting on my hands with respect to buying more in the sales....

Another empty - Chain Bridge Honey Farm moisturiser. That was nice and I like supporting small enterprises but my skin on my face is very sensitive and reacted to it. I used it up on my neck.

I have just purchased a No 7 City Lights Gift Box. It has the Protect & Perfect Day and Night Cream in, which I usually use and they are £25 each. Box was £39 and had other products in, so an absolute bargain - honestly! Now if I could just find somewhere to put it ......

I'm starting the day with a festive matte red - NYX Bloody Mary.

My DIY advent calendar is finished!!! Final products: Panda's Dream Cream on my neck (eugh - it is a whitening product in the sense that it leaves a white cast, like nappy cream or physical sunscreen) and Erborian ginger essence on my face (feels and smells pleasant). I've used up most of my samples!!!

My favorite advent products have been Missha serums, particularly the discontinued Marine Stem Cell one (pleasant smell, gorgeous texture). Tony Moly Tomatox massage pack was also surprisingly effective. But most of all I am quite relieved to see that my sample stash is almost gone. No need to purchase anything new: I have quite a few full-size and travel-size Korean products so I will slowly use those up during the coming year.
