I love the phrase "descision fatigue" I have definitely got that!

I've still not got round to reorganising my stash, but I did buy storage boxes so that's a step in the right direction Hmm

DD starts nursery ((sob 😭)) in a couple of weeks, and I go back to work at the end of Feb. This means I have got time!!! Time to do stuff!! Time to sort stuff!! Time to colour my hair, put on make up and feel like a yummy mummy not a scummy mummy. Today I went out in jeans that had fromage frais splodges on, and later on had snotty slobbery marks where DD decided to chew my knee. The MrsDilligaf I used to be would have NEVER be seen in such unflattering attire. The MrsDilligaf I am now, is such that if I manage to put in my lenses, clean my teeth and brush my hair before lunchtime I consider myself unspeakably glamorous!

mrs sounds like your maternity leave has flown by Flowers

I have an empty:
Korres Equistem 48h deodorant - okay but did not like that roller was slimline.

MotherofPearl · 17/01/2017 11:32

Impressive organisation there Dragon!
MrsD, I'm also back at work after mat leave at the end of February. Really really dreading going back although looking forward to having a pay cheque to squander on more beauty products
I have just one measly empty to report, an Elizabeth Arden 8 hour lip balm. I go through these like the clappers in winter. Smile
Good work on the deodorant Kwick.

pepperrabbit · 17/01/2017 16:01

I have finally finished a travel size Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser Smile, now moving on to an Eve Taylor one I have a small amount left in. Quite pleased with myself!

FrustratedFrugal · 17/01/2017 17:17

Thanks for your warm wishes - another stressful day today at work but the worst is over. And I am still breathing and still not shopping and still alcohol free!

I got an unexpected boost last night from watching a documetary film about Anthony Weiner - an American politician who messed up his campaign and career by sexting with several different women. He is an incredible character, extremely verbal and totally Teflon coated. And then you have his wife and Hillary's confidante Huma Abedin staring dolefully in background, saying very little but speaking volumes with her eyes. Their situation is pretty awful, just about anything feels trivial in comparison, and you know it will only get worse - Hillary hasn't even lost the election yet! So if anyone has had a rubbish day, I warmly recommend this.

Human tragedy aside, Huma's lipsticks are absolutely mesmerizing. I want to buy them all!

FrustratedFrugal · 17/01/2017 17:24

Oh and when I was trying to find Huma's lipsticks, I found this makeup tutorial that made me laugh - the first one really nails Huma's mournful stare and the second one does stunning things with red and green eye shadow - to paraphrase, "This look is great for ordering strawberry daiquiris from the bartender using only your eyes."

If you experiment with these, please post pics Wink

You are an amazing lady frustrated so strong!

I have been doing well with Glam Jan except today - just wore foundation, mascara and a red lip.
I have a Chanel pallete which I have hit pan on 4 of the 8 colours... will be forever until I am done!!! TBH one of the colours I never use but finished 7 out if 8 would be ace. Pallete is about 8 years old...

Keep going frustrated!

I'm at Edinburgh Royal Sick kids - DGS is very poorly!

FrustratedFrugal · 17/01/2017 19:27

Dragon sending warm vibes your way, hoping everything will be okay!

Kwick great progress, well done with the palette, and your Glam Jan says fab!

FrustratedFrugal · 17/01/2017 19:30

kwick · 17/01/2017 20:01

Just finished a seaweed body shop cream cleanser. This is one of my
Favourites. I am currently using the body shop vitamin e cream
Cleanser as I figured it would be a good time to use it with the cold weather and then I've got a spare seaweed to move onto next!

CantChoose · 17/01/2017 21:44

Oh dragon so sorry about your DGS, hope he's feeling much better soon. I have a good friend who works there, I did a paeds job with her in london when I was a baby doctor. She raves about it so hopefully he's in good hands!
Ive got my eye on that red nail varnish of yours but will message you another day!
I have an empty claxon... I finished my origins oil free 'night-a-mins' last night. It's been my go-to for years but post roaccutane I need something different. I think I'm going to try and use up some samples first.

CantChoose · 17/01/2017 21:46

Oops... stars fail... that was supposed to be claxon. Looks like I've found myself an imaginary friend :/

purpleviolet1 · 17/01/2017 22:01

Sorry to hear about gds - sorry I missed the post. I'm not far from edinburgh sick kids, let me know if you need anything... two close family members were in there a few years ago after a virus hit them very hard, they had great care Smile

DragonNoodleCake · 17/01/2017 22:17

Thanks all, baby E is on the up. He went in vomiting yesterday (sent by GP) and quite dehydrated. So was on fluids/ couldn't keep milk down. After lots tests the found infection so on antibiotics now. DD was stressed to max and is shattered. Great thing is she stays in with him. He's now keeping milk down. Sick kids are awesome, just do what they need to.
He's just past the 12 week mark so it's always a worry when they do small. It's been an interesting 18 weeks since we knew about him. DD has done a hell of a lot of growing up in that time I tell you!!

kwick · 18/01/2017 07:10

Sorry I did not know what DGS is Sad Dragon I really hope he is on the mend Flowers

I have, well not an empty as such, but have finished a Lush shampoo bar - the one for oily hair. Not sure how much I like it.

I really must shake a leg on my 5 fullsize!

ememem84 · 18/01/2017 07:19

dragon poor dgs and poor dd and poor you. Hope everyone is ok.

She only knew she was having him 18 weeks ago? (Have I understood that correctly?) wow. Big changes in such a short time. Well done dd

ememem84 · 18/01/2017 07:20

Dh keeps putting my frizz ease tube back in its basket the wrong way up. So all the stuff slides to the top. Aaaaaaaah.

I have about 2cm left. Sonitll no doubt last for ever.

MrsDilligaf · 18/01/2017 07:47

Dragon what a roller coaster you've been on Flowers for you all (although I suspect a Wine may be required)

I have an empty!! Elemis pro collagen cleansing Balm. It is beautiful. Smells gorgeous, feels amazing and definitely a new favorite. I am very happy that I have 2 more in the stash Grin

AlfaMummy · 18/01/2017 09:27

Another Elemis cleansing balm fan here, really love it! Not sure what I prefer between it and Liz Earle C & P. I've finished an Elemis Skin Nourishing shower cream which I love. Now using Elemis Sharp Shower which is very minty to help ease my almost-gone cold. Just so very relieved my DD (4.5 months) has managed to avoid catching it from me. I will definitely see the end of my Balance Me body cream tomorrow or Friday - fairly bored of it by now so will enjoy using something different!!

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 18/01/2017 11:17

Dragon Flowers to you and DD. I hope you guys are home. You're in good hands. Sick kids have been fab to us over the last year. Great staff if awful building. Staying overnight there is the pits though. Roof held together with tape is grim! Have coffee in Victor Hugo though. Awesome sandwiches and coffee.

If it helps my experience of young mums is that they do brilliantly and generally handle motherhood with far less angst than 30-somethings (me). My friend teaches at one of the colleges that specialises in teen mum courses and is constantly impressed with their effort and attainment once they focus on their future and making a future for their DCs. I think society has an unnecessarily negative view of teen mums and most do a great job as I'm sure DD will. She prob also looks amazing on very little sleep!

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 18/01/2017 11:19

On a finish front nice work everyone. Love Elemis so trying to finish 3/4 before I can buy another. I am a huge shampoo bar fan too kwick. This thread always makes me want to buy more!

applesandpears33 · 18/01/2017 11:42

Dragon - sorry to hear about DGS. Hope he picks up soon.

I finally have an empty (but not an exciting one) Baylliss and Harding shower gel. It must be about 8 years old and had very little fragrance left. It was completely my fault for leaving it at the back of a cupboard for ages.
