90s "bodysuits" or "bodies" are back!

Memories of youthful fumblings!

They were so bad for VPL and fanjo health, and yet strangely comfy.

I had one, a tight black V-neck with pearly buttons, I loved so much I wore it until the lycra went side seams split.

They can't be good for your spine, surely? Either they are so big they bag, or so tight they compress your spine? It would be very difficult to get one the exact right size.

(Can't lie, when I saw this in discussions of the day, I read it as "Bodie's back". Which I'd be totally up for, if Lewis Collins hadn't died.)

Fuck this has brought on a flashback.

I wore a body for primary school once, with leggings. I chose not to wear knickers with it.

I forgot we had PE later that day. I only had a gym skirt with me.

I managed to roll up my leggings and pretend they were cycling shorts under my gym skirt.

Never wore one again after that. Not even with knickers

I don't think I've ever admitted that before to anyone. Ever.

I was sorely reminded of the popper crotch when I wore a miraclesuit under my wedding dress (slip thing with hook and eye crotch) what fun I had trying to undo THAT under my wedding dress after the prosecco started flowing...

There's a reason people generally stop wearing popper crotches after the age of about 2....
