Hi Rudy!

Boggled is not a euphemismWink

CointreauVersial · 01/04/2016 08:35

Morning, Rudy. Was just thinking about you. Hope RL is on the up.

Auriga and Monty - hope you are OK too, and finding time for yourselves. Flowers

TGIF! These four-day weeks really take it out of you.....

MrsSchadenfreude · 01/04/2016 09:11

Hello Rudy!

Nice day today. Must schlep my sorry arse into the office.

Blackduck · 01/04/2016 12:20

I have only done three days this week and it's been a push....

wordassociationfootball · 01/04/2016 13:21

Greetings crepesters. Back in London, DH and kids will be home tonight. Am unfathomably knackered for the second day running.

Cremo · 01/04/2016 14:00

Welcome back WAF.
Morning Rudy, pet. Hope you are ok.
Grin @bogglesome cleavage. Sounds 'hopeful' ?Wink

Today is the first day of my 'new job' with very different and very troublesome rules and pronouncements.
I am utterly determined to get out of here by summer. It feels unclean. I am supposed to 'follow orders ' and not make issues out of nothing. No - one will engage with me At All. < shoots self> it is like living in some kind of dystopian future. Where I have become an automaton. Bleurgh.Sad

motherinferior · 01/04/2016 14:18

I just happen to note that the two for one kicks in at 5pm in the bar...

Cremo · 01/04/2016 14:19

We will soon need a new thread title distracts selfGrin

motherinferior · 01/04/2016 14:28

It was a dark and Crepey night?

Rosebag · 01/04/2016 14:49

...the toilet light was dim
I heard a crash and then a smash
My god, she's fallen in.
(Private Frazer, I believe...) Grin

bigTillyMint · 01/04/2016 18:17

MI, talking Dark & Stormies? Perhaps the new title should be Dark & Crepey Grin

Just on the bus feeling very full after a lovely afternoon tea involving a bottle of fizz with my friend. It has been quite an alcoholic week one way and another!

WAF and Rudy, good to see you, though sorry to hear you are still knackered WAF. Have you had your iron levels checked?

motherinferior · 01/04/2016 18:23

Bugger, there doesn't seem to be a HH tomorrow..

BeachysFlipFlops · 01/04/2016 18:29

They must have heard you were coming!

Chilling here with two ds's, as ds and dh are bring men with van and driven to Yorkshire. So it's lovely and peaceful for now with no shouting or rams locking horns....but, ....

Dd1 had one 'gathering' on Wednesday with about 16 youth and she has another one tomorrow Confused So not expecting much sleep, once again.

Seem to have had lots of impromptu coffees, lunches and teas with people I haven't seen for ages or didn't really know very well, which has been lovely. Never get too old for new friends, I say.

BeachysFlipFlops · 01/04/2016 18:30

Actually chilling with two dd's, not two ds's as that would mean I had three, and I'm not sure that's for me!

MrsSchadenfreude · 01/04/2016 18:38

Or Crepe & Stormy?

I hate to break it to you, having been the one who introduced you to them, but last time I went, the Dark & Stormies were not included in the 2 4 1 Happy Hour. Soz.

MrsSchadenfreude · 01/04/2016 18:40

MI - it says that Happy Hour is Wednesday to Saturday, so we should be OK. It actually seems to be every day - I've been there on a Monday and every other day and have always got 2 4 1.

bigTillyMint · 01/04/2016 18:52

They have an HH sign beside them, MrsS! But you're right, no HH tomorrowSad Sure they wouldn't put one on just for us? Or maybe it will curtail us a bitWink

Crepe and Stormy sounds better - no wonder you're the writer and I'm notGrin

Beachy, I agree - old friends, new friends, coffees, teas, lunches, dinners - what's not to like?

bigTillyMint · 01/04/2016 18:53

MrsS, what are you looking on? It says Wed - Fri on the website I foundConfused

bigTillyMint · 01/04/2016 18:57

Acc, how weird - it has Wed-Sat on front page and Wed to Fri on dropdown menu-cocktailsConfused

wordassociationfootball · 01/04/2016 19:17

God Crem, that sounds shite.

I wish I was as sociable as some of you. It's so cheering being with other people, but I do shy away.

Having said which, I've just made a white choc and blueberry cheesecake for big late lunch thing here tomorrow Fear I am back to being in a pig of a mood and fam are due back in about half an hour. I can't even be lovely to the cat and he is a blameless darling...

Thanks BTM, I think iron is OK.

herbaceous · 01/04/2016 19:25

I have opened the wine already. Spent today at a kiddie farm, with two NCT pals and their offspring. It was v much fun. The children played for hours on a bouncy pillow thing at the top of a windy hill. They wore t-shirts - we huddled in coats. We also watched birds of prey, stroked lambs and fed goats. Highlight of the day - when the goat ate the bag the food came in.

Then all dropped into another NCT friend's for tea and cake.

Now knackered. Combination of other people's children, wind and carbs.

having my episodic 'should I move out of London' thoughts, after spending a lovely time in Sudbury yesterday, where my parents live. River, water meadows, tudor houses, lots of arty shizzle, commutable to London if feeling brave... And we could get an amazing house, with change for a seaside retreat.

MrsSchadenfreude · 01/04/2016 21:46

I am naturally very, very antisocial.
