Sympathy, Herbs. I can of course only imagine what this must be likeWink

bigTillyMint · 31/03/2016 10:31

BD and others, 5pm is good for me - I will need to leave 7ish, so that leaves 2 hours of D&S's. Must. Pace. Myself. Wink

Herbs, I too can only imagine how you are feeling. Have you got a small pack-away Brian you can take in your handbag?

I have got to trek off for a second opinion on the possibility/cost of dental implants later. DH has huffed off for a walk on his own Shock This involves a train ride and a country pub. I suspect not a lot of walking will be done Grin
And by some weird twist of fate, I also have to take myself and DS (DD has declared she hasn't got time due to the amount of revision she has to doHmm) to a dental check-up later too.

Monty and Auriga, how are you doing?

Blackduck · 31/03/2016 10:55

Herbs - oh dear (been there, done that). I suggest two paracetamol and a bottle of lucozade (original) - sipped slowly.......

5pm is good (might make it slightly earlier) and I will probably leave around 7ish to go back for a curry with the dad and ds.

Yes Monty, Auriga - how are you both?

motherinferior · 31/03/2016 11:16

I will let Monty know about Sat too.

herbaceous · 31/03/2016 11:34

Even if I were ever drinking again, don't think I can come in Saturday as DP not about. Unless I bring DS, but that might cramp our style rather!

Having waves of thinking I might live. Though the milky coffee for the train was a bad idea.

My hello rabbi bra has arrived. Am worried it gives me ButtCleavage...

Rosebag · 31/03/2016 12:27

I know a rabbi or two we can test it on...... Grin Would you care to post a pic so we can assess the buttishness of the cleavage? Grin Grin

Boo, 5 o'clock is too late for me as going out shortly after. If anyone decides to meet early afternoon though.... Which Waterstones? However BD I don't think I have a lot on, on Sunday morning, if you'd like a coffee and something, in my old stomping ground .......

tilly is DH having a midlife crisis?

Have been racing around the mall largely to get things for other people. I do not like the look of my thighs in the changing room mirror. The excesses of the last few months are showing. Hmm. All my trousers are The Trousers of Truth. Decided to give Mac Plumful a go, as the oft championed lippy colour for Winters on this board.

Herbs are you less sick? Flowers

bigTillyMint · 31/03/2016 12:47

Rose I don't think he's having a midlife crisis, just wanted to go for a pub lunch walk in the countryside! And because the DC are revising and I have a full diary, he has to go on his own.

Right, into the dental implants centre...

motherinferior · 31/03/2016 12:54

I nearly did post a picSmile. I could ask DP but really I feel I know what he'll say...

magimedi · 31/03/2016 13:04

Would love to see butt cleavage bra!!

Blackduck · 31/03/2016 13:13

Rose PM me your phone number and if I am around earlier or on Sunday I'll let you know.....

Not sure exactly what my movements will be this weekend.

motherinferior · 31/03/2016 13:44

I am NOT putting pics of my norks on the Internet!

'Kinell, DP just rang - another colleague of his has died. Car accident.

Blackduck · 31/03/2016 14:03

Blimey MI......

bigTillyMint · 31/03/2016 14:59

Oh no Sad

Stropperella · 31/03/2016 15:50

That's awful, MI :(

motherinferior · 31/03/2016 16:13

He did sound very, very shaken. Obviously doesn't help that we're living in this constant state of tension...

It does make a difference for me, with the zipping across the country, that I've renewed friendships with quite a few people in Norwich whereas my sister hasn't. (I suspect she has quite enough of her own struggles to contend with at the moment, of course.) I'll go there on Monday, because another (lovely) cousin is here from India and has hardly ever been outside India before - mum has various visitors and though she appears convinced that cousin will "enjoy meeting them" I suspect a little tour of Norwich would be more fun. And another old friend now does guided historical walks of the city and is going to meet us for a couple of hours.

motherinferior · 31/03/2016 16:26

Oh christonabike, the marvellously crepey Zaha Hadid has died.

SHE WAS ONLY SIXTY FIVE.

Collymollypuff · 31/03/2016 18:54

Will Gompertz has just done a great tribute to her on BBC London News.

Cremo · 31/03/2016 19:06

Oh God. She was such an incredible visionary. I love her fabulous buildings.Sad

herbaceous · 31/03/2016 19:11

I worked in architecture magazines for 10 years. La Hadid was a massive deal. What a shame she's gone so soon, when it took her so long to be taken seriously.

DP is great. He has made the bed, is cooking dinner, has baked a tea loaf and even bought me an insipid beer to help my hangie. Nearly home...

Oh, and he cleaned the house. I'd give him a sex if ie rent so knackered.

DP says my new Hello Rabbi is impressive.

CointreauVersial · 31/03/2016 20:25

I can only dream of a buttcleavage.

Herbs - I can't cane it and bounce straight back the next morning, like I could in my yoof. Hangovers are sooo much worse nowadays.

Didn't hear about Zaha Hadid - that's sad - she was marvellous.

Lovely boilerman has been back to commission/sign off the boiler, and present us with Massive Bill.

And DS has gone out this evening, leaving DH and I alone at last. Wa-hey! So what's it going to be, then?? Hmm.....DIY SOS, or a re-run of Judge Judy? HmmBlush

motherinferior · 31/03/2016 20:37

Line of duty for me!

Blackduck · 31/03/2016 20:43

Line of Duty here too...

I am going to stop listening to th news - too many people dying....

I am loving the 'impressive' MI - does he think he's on?!?!
