It's brilliant! Not once did I have to unceremoniously hoik the crotch of my tights back up

Thanks for the tip :)

What is it!?

tigerdriverII · 15/02/2016 19:12

Do you feel like Superman??

ExplodingCarrots · 15/02/2016 19:13

I take it pants over tights?

almostthirty · 15/02/2016 19:13

I need to know this tip!!! I spent most of Friday hoiking up my tights, much to the amusement of my TA i'm not subtle!

WhoWants2Know · 15/02/2016 19:13

Did you put your pants on over your tights?

ExplodingCarrots · 15/02/2016 19:14

I usually put my Magic pants over tights. Nothing moves , it's great.

ParcelP · 15/02/2016 19:14

Sorry I didn't say it, it's just wear pants over your tights
Almost I'm a teacher too and I have to subtly pull them up all the time but a day of walking round today and no honking!

What if you bend over and everyone can see your superman?

calzone · 15/02/2016 19:15

Pants Tights Pants.

Keeps it all together!

Eggsandketchup · 15/02/2016 19:15

I always did this at school. PE knickers over tights. I thought everyone did it!

ToastMakesMeHappy · 15/02/2016 19:17

Why have I never heard of this. If this works I will be truly greatful of you all!

Pointlessfan · 15/02/2016 19:17

I did that at school but it has never occurred to me as am adult, I am always hoiking my tights. Thanks for the top tip!

IndomitabIe · 15/02/2016 19:18

Do you think this would work for my gravitationally overwhelmed maternity jeans? (2 pairs, neither stay up. They're almost down to my knees going between the living room and kitchen).

IndomitabIe · 15/02/2016 19:19

Let's face it, I can't look any more ridiculous.

Cerseirys · 15/02/2016 19:19

I always do this but really, shouldn't tights manufacturers actually do something to address the problem? I don't think I've ever worn a pair of tights where the crotch didn't slowly migrate south!

JassyRadlett · 15/02/2016 19:21

Maternity jeans are AWFUL.

I am so glad I'm unlikely to need them ever again.

ParcelP · 15/02/2016 19:23

originalmavis how short are your skirts?!

OP posts:
ParcelP · 15/02/2016 19:26

However if you do want to go all out on the superman-ing

OP posts:
PotOfYoghurt · 15/02/2016 19:28

When I do that my knickers roll down and I get a droopy gusset with a pant-croissant above it.

What am I doing wrong?

WhoTheFuckIsSimon · 15/02/2016 19:30

Just buy decent tights.

Ime m&s don't budge, tesco are shit, asda somewhere in between. Primark not as good as m&s.

originalmavis · 15/02/2016 19:35

Arf - I meant at the top! Peepong over the waistband.

ParcelP · 15/02/2016 19:37

I find it depends on the person. M and s are the worst for me, primark the best, due to the high elastic thing content

A lot of the old ladies at work do this!.

fruityb · 15/02/2016 19:42

I have specifically purchased pants for this very job!

I'm terrible for fidgeting anyway. Snapped the top of mine vert loudly as a kid was asking me a question in class last week. How I didn't laugh out loud ill never know!
