Amber I love your friend, would love her to come to a MU , very funny. I'd also love to be a fly on the wall when you walk into work looking so bloody fabulous Smile

Have resolved my M Dutti returns issue......my Visa Bill for last month is £25.53 Grin, this is incredible but my returns are record breaking and making me dizzy. I need an accountant just to balance the bloody thing!!!

Felt very CU again today. White shirt buttoned up under a workhorse grey tweed shift dress I bought from Landsend [shick] a couple of years ago.

Dreamqueen · 08/02/2016 17:14

Happy chinese New year to all! Hope it's a wonderful one.

I've not left the house today because of the high winds & I don't like driving in bad weather.

OOTD is an old UCLA tracksuit & fluffy socks and slippers, not in the least bit stylish.

AmberNectarine · 08/02/2016 19:55

I'm v lucky dry, my two besties and I have stayed friends since we met at primary school (ahem, 23 years) and all live locally to each other. They are great Smile

My 'Maman' sweater from selfish mother arrived today. Love it but the sizing is generous. I got the XS and it is bordering on too big. Never mind, we'll call it slouchy!

shopafrolic · 08/02/2016 20:11

I did wonder how sizing would be for you Amber but they are so soft and I love the long arms.

FedupNagging · 08/02/2016 20:12

I had such a lovely day today looking after a 6month old. Lots of cuddles and giggles, what more does anyone need? definitely still need L plates for the pushchair though

Really loving the selfish mother s/s you're all buying - is this the latest MNV must have? Wink

It's lovely your best friends are so close Amber. My oldest friend (we met 42 years ago Blush) only lives about 1.45 hrs away but would be brilliant if she were closer. Another lives in Australia Sad.

Queen hope the weather cheers up a bit for you.

shopafrolic · 08/02/2016 21:13

A sneaky Outnet order generated this Splendid dress for holidays and some Heidi Klum nightwear.

AmberNectarine · 09/02/2016 07:57

A very dry look for my OOTD today, navy cashmere crew neck, white faux collar and skinny navy trousers. Adding a little bit of me with tartan tasselled slipper flats though Wink

QueenC · 09/02/2016 08:30

Woohoo, it's dry today. Lazy morning here as dc all had late nights so still in pjs. Might muster up the enthusiasm to go on a run but then again maybe not.
fedup love them at that age. Not on the move but very responsive to playing.

Jut popping by to say that, seeing as we are all buying charity sweatshirts, if you buy these shoes they donate some money to a heart charity. Dry I think you have these? I have a different colour from years back, still going strong.

Stokey · 09/02/2016 15:26

Good for you pushing boundaries QueenC. FWIW I can really picture you in teal.

My Selfish mother sweatshirt arrived too, I'm not sure on the sizing. I went for S as they said that was size 8, it's fine on the body but the sleeves are so long, I can fold them back a whole cuff and they're still over the end of my wrists. Not sure whether to send back for an xs which may then be a bit tight in the body Confused

shopafrolic · 09/02/2016 17:13

Loads of Rag & Bone on the Outnet.

For Amber

Drywhitethanks · 09/02/2016 19:01

Amber love you channelling me! Shock

I played 'sock chicken' oop North today (OOTD black cigarette BR Sloane fit trouser, Jigsaw cobalt blue swing 3/4 sleeve merino jumoer, bird scarf, black loafers, NO socks) felt really me and survived without getting hypothermia, turning blue, feel dropping off.....a bit chilly but not too bad really.

AmberNectarine · 09/02/2016 20:24

QueenC if you haven't taken the tags off yet.. dress on sale.

Drywhitethanks · 09/02/2016 21:40

Bernice yes I have those JV slippers, didn't know about the charity link.

QueenC · 09/02/2016 22:09

Aargh amber that's so annoying. I don't think that ive taken the labels off but I'm on holiday and can't be too sure. I wil console myself that I got NUS discount anyway so didn't pay full price....thanks ever so for linking though.

Ah, not so bad then! I hate paying FP.

Anyone giving anything up for lent. I briefly considered shoe-buying but then I had a word with myself.

libertydoddle · 10/02/2016 01:33

Hmmmm will have a think about Lent. On hols OOTD Boden A-line, knee length denim skirt, Boden seaweed green seamed T (love this T-shirt, will get a couple more for summer) and Russell and Bromley tan sandals. Big floppy sunhat with burnt orange ribbon and sunnies.

Love to all.

QueenC · 10/02/2016 08:38

amber I thought you'd given up shoe buying for the year Grin
lib lovely to hear from you.
I don't do Lent so will be giving up nothing. However from next week I have 6 weeks to get a killer vegas body so will be working hard on that. Ive bought jillian michaels killer body dvd.

AmberNectarine · 10/02/2016 09:27

QueenC - be warned, it is a BIG step up from Shred. I couldn't do my bra up unaided after I did the upper body circuit for the first time.

Yeah, the shoe thing turned out to be bollocks.

Stokey · 10/02/2016 13:45

ugh Killer Body sounds terrifying. I've just started level 3 of the shred and was thinking of getting the abs one next, but will probably just go back & do shred again, maybe with bigger weights.

Sweatshirt has gone back, I'm going to try the xs. Should probably be giving up sugar but just had a cinnamon roll so cocked that up already. We're skint too so giving up shopping for lent would be very wise, maybe I'll give it a go.

AmberNectarine · 10/02/2016 14:27

6 week 6 pack is really good Stokey. L1 is ok, L2 is obscene.

Ripped in 30 is a good one - same format as Shred but a bit of a change.

I'm going to do the core section of Killer Body tonight. May go for broke and do lower body as well as DH is out.

Drywhitethanks · 10/02/2016 17:25

After my disappointing dry January I'm not giving anything up for a while. Think doing something nice for someone every day, or having a laugh every day for 40 days would be achievable.

I'm happy with my upper body, it's just my arse that won't cooperate Grin

Just flicking through the ME + EM catalogue. Honestly I could weep, I love it all, it's just my style through and through. Think I'm going to finally bit the bullet and invest in one of their layering shirts.......but they are doing so many more now the problem is shick one Hmm

Drywhitethanks · 10/02/2016 18:23

Wow, haven't even had a drink....predictive text problems Smile

Have ordered.

Drywhitethanks · 10/02/2016 18:26
