this one. My initial reticence was the boob issue as it possibly looked a bit matronly but I think ive sorted that with a different bra that flattens them down a bit!! But I love it and it makes me want to twirl around

This dress is gorgeous but didn't do me any favours as the waist sat too high. Also not very vegas-y but would be lovely on someone else for a different occasion.

Fedup I am ok thanks, just think I caught a very mild cold from a colleague last week, and this week I've just been unbelievably tired, like going to bed at 9.30 every night and waking up at 7 wishing for more hours. I'm trying to link the so called " granny shoes" ie ballet flats with heels? What's the verdict on here? I actually really like the grey topshop ones but if I see one more blogger with them on IG I may scream

I kind of like those granny shoes but I don't think they will have much longevity. I don't think you should wear them to Vegas either!!

Blair we stayed at lots of different places, some of which have since been knocked down!
Crazy times, have been back once since DC on a girls trip but doubt we will be able to go together again until the DC old enough to be left which is ages away.
I've also developed a fear of flying that I never used to have which I really need to sort out!

viva I'm a lot more nervous about flying now than I used to be.

bernice don't worry, I wasn't planning on buying them or wearing them to vegas . Their popularity actually puts me off them as I wonder if people buy them because they like them or because they think they should. Even eve worn out has pretty much admitted she panic bought the gold ones.

amber what shoes/sandals does your friend wear with it? It needs a heel but I don't want anything too high.

Ok, MNV, bit bored so I tried on all my summer stuff and can state that I don't need any more summer clothes for my holiday , even formal nights unless I double in size before August .

It's been a busy work week and dealing with dd has sapped my energy so I haven't been here. Style wise, I got my blue Balenciaga City bag and Valentino shoe boots out and that's influenced my clothes all week. Much of which has been different navys and Blues including this gorgeous Me and Em dress which I just bought for £30 and this lovely Armani dress which cost me considerably more than that! Dress down yesterday, which always nearly brings me out in hives as I used to get it very wrong. But loved my choice of this j crew starburst top with grey Austin Reed trousers. Quite interesting to theme the whole week around a bag and a pair of shoes. I might try it again next week with something else. For today, my already beloved Mulberry Roxanne is coming out to play.

Glad you all like the dress. vegas those are nice and the sort of thing I've been looking at. It needs a shoe/sandal that's not too heavy looking. I don't do really pointy things though or really high heels. I've got a few weeks so I'm sure I'll find something.
