I just ordered these sorel boots, my feet got soaked at the fields in my walking shoes.
Considering the thing I do the most is walk the dogs figured I should invest in them.

I had my eye on one Maison Scotch top from Anna, it was in my basket then realised the postage is a third of the price of said top so didn't bother.

These OOTDs are really inspiring me to look at styling what I have in different ways. I always seem to put stuff together in the same way or class stuff as daywear or going out, whereas I think a lot of my clothes can cross over.

I'm reading a good book at the mo "I Let You Go" by Clare Mackintosh, a great thriller, lots of twists.....QueenC and Fedup I know you love a good read.

Finally, I have a lovely pencil skirt from Oasis last year? It's on my Pinterest navy background, birds and flowers , bits of grey and white. Goes with blue/grey, white, navy tops ....love it.....BUT I wear it in the summer only, with my silver pointy flats.......I have a jumper like the one FedUp just linked which looks great with it for this time of year, slouchy and cosy......but what on my feet?
I've tried black and brown, neither works

Cranagh the mini marcie in blue is gorgeous. I tried it on in selfridges. I saw the georgia too but didn't love it as much as the marcie. The grey is on my wishlist for this year. A discount code of some sort would be good

OOTD was Me+Em navy ruched dress (new style) with tan obi belt and opaques. Had a cardigan for when I felt chilly in the office but that wasn't part of the outfit!

Glad I inspired you Dry and I'm not sure what it means to look like Kim K, maybe your bum looked v good? I know the skirt you mean, it's lovely. I would wear it with black tights and shoes, but then I don't mind black with navy. Sorry, not helpful!

justa I got my mum the mini marcie in blue and I've got it in grey. It's my go to bag. Goes with everything and I love the fact I can wear it over my shoulder and pretty much forget about it. However, I'm starting to think it's just a bit too small for all my crap things. I was looking at this at the weekend, but I think it's a bit too big :/

Outfits all sound lovely and cosy fur a miserable January day.
I enjoyed the 'expensive ' threads and in response bought a few things from Jaeger outlet. ..
Grey v neck cashmere mix jumper which was a total bargain and us lovely.
Wore it today with whistles skinnies and baby suede ankle boots.
Also bought charcoal biker long cardigan , another massive reduction but not sure whether to keep. ..

dry I've read the clare mackintosh book and agree it's very good.

Thanks for the book recommendation Dry; its on my wish list for when I've finished my book club non fiction & very tedious book. Navy and black look ok together - I've started to pair the 2 colours recently - probably thanks to someone on MNV but can't remember who.

Hello, happy birthday to One, I hope you get to celebrate with Dp this weekend.

I am popping in for some relaxation before bed. I am enjoying the Ootd posts but am feeling uninspired by my own. Today's was a mistake, Zara jacquard trousers with a navy merino jumper. I like this bUt my shoes were wrong for the weather and the outfit didn't go with the coat I wore. I felt very unvogue-like!

I need to shift a few lbs as well as a few £. However I'm not sure what I want yet so need to ponder.

I haven't bought any cashmere yet Stokey. Thanks for the eBay suggestion. I hadn't thought of looking there, although DD has had some bargains. I haven't seen anything yet, but will keep an eye on it.

As usual, lots of lovely links to help inspire me.

ootd was tan trainers, I really like them, indigo skinnies, charcoal Tippi, and warm grey North Face Parka to keep me warm when I went out.

OOTD were Superdry trackies again with J crew pink long tee and Gap cream cardigan. Dh said I looked cute. I really didn't . I can tell a week of being sick has taken its toll on me....yesterday I skipped wearing a bracelet and today it was bracelet and ring. Also I have been in bed for 5 days and haven't bought anything! Seriously.call.the.doctors.

Welcome back Georgina. I think I know the long biker cardigan from Jaeger. It's lovely, why are you undecided?

Jaeger outlet is fabulous and I keep checking it but for some reason it never seems to suit me. They seem to cut their dresses for apple / column shapes - always seems to be either too big for me on top or stuck on my hips.

Blingy are you still resting today? There is nothing in the shops anyway - sales dregs and not much new season in yet.

That said, I continue to buy!! Toast is on 70% reductions so I decided to get this dress and this skirt. I have tried both on before and was dithering as neither are autumn colours. However, my workwear wardrobe is very limited atm. It is almost impossible to find work clothes in autumn colours. The gold tones in the dress means it looks 'warm' and it will work with camel jacket / cardigan etc and I'll probably wear the skirt with teal, cream or red tops.

I have also ordered this Zara jacket. I tried it ages ago but didn't get it as I wasn't sure I would wear it much but at £12.99 it's worth a go . Also ordered this shirt in kakhi. Will only keep if it feels nice and soft and has decent seams - am really fed up of Zara clothes falling to bits.

Felt much better this morning so have gone into work. I will be taking it easy, promise!

Ootd Is all cashmere and wool. Hobbs wool mitzy dress in navy, M&S one button navy jacket, with R&B shoe boots, maxmara cashmere coat (which may be the reason I left the house - it's finally cold enough to wear it!!), jl grey cashmere scarf and beanie with salmon pink PS13. The bling is back - the basics plus tag watch, sapphire and diamond bracelet and tanzanite and diamond halo ring.

Lib don't make me come round and take the mouse off you! . I like the dress and skirt though neither would suit me in a month of Sundays!
