I love looking at engagement rings. Does anyone want to share photos? It's not a boasting thread,my ring wasn't particularly expensive. Just for fun.

Mines a pink sapphire with little diamonds either side.

This is my replacement engagement ring. It was second hand and cheap but is super sparkly. I love it... I wear it on my right hand because my wedding band is too chunky to sit with another ring.

Here's mine back when they were both lovely and shiny! I wish I could get mine reset in platinum, white gold is a pain to get redipped to keep it looking lovely.

My engagement ring is from the lanes in Brighton. I still love it 19 years later. I wouldn't change it for anything.

My wedding ring is from Hatton Garden.

I used to have this sapphire ring in white gold but it looked horrible when it needed replating, so I had it remade in platinum. Been married 15 years and still love it. Although I am not averse to dh buying me more diamonds if he likes

I love my engagement ring. Had it upgraded after losing the stone a couple of years ago. It now has a larger diamond and the side diamonds have been moved from their positions in the sides of the ring. Hard to describe.

I wish I hadn't got white gold though. Didn't know about the need for replating and mine seem to need it annually. Well, more often actually but I try and just get them done near to our anniversary.

This is such a nice thread! Reading it got me through newborn mad cluster feeding night feed last night!

Here are mine. DH proposed with a temporary rung and we chose my engagement ring together which was lots of fun as it was made for me. Very glad DH didn't chose on his own as he would have got me a solitaire and I really wanted a three stone ring. I love it as the solitaire the jeweller produced was enormous which was very nice but I am very clumsy and would have caught it on stuff all the time. Both set in platinum so hope they will last

I always wear both together all the time.

Mine is an opal, with diamonds clustered around. It's quite showy vulgar but I love it s much now as I did when I pointed it out to Dh as pretty much the perfect example of a ring that I liked. Also it's an antique, so was a bargain. I wear it every single day.

Engagement ring is white gold , from a second hand shop , ( cost about £200 , I could have had whatever I wanted but I saw this and just knew !)

Wedding ring was £18 from a discount jewellers brought 1 wk before the wedding as wedding was arranged in 5 wks from engagement ( was taking no chances once he proposed )

Both could do with re plate , 7 yrs later but I can't bare to not have them for the week or so it takes to get them done

Toofat i only have to leave mine for 1 hour to have them cleaned and re-plated.

It's an independent jewellers.

Here's mine. 15 years old. It's a flush set square diamond in rose gold. My wedding ring is a thin rose gold band on top of a slightly wider white gold band. I've lost a lot of weight lately so I'll have to get them resized as they fall off.

I love mine, we gave a photo of a ring to a jeweller friend and he made it even nicer than I could have hoped for. Then the eternity ring followed last year (for 8th anniversary).

Here's mine, this was my second engagement ring after the first id had designed at a jewellers in Hatton garden came back looking like someone had modelled it out of play dough! Was very upset and that evening I was passing my local jewellers and saw this ring and loved it. It's a 1 carat yellow diamond engagement ring with an eternity wedding ring next to it

Mines a platinum band with a teardrop shaped diamond. It's 15 years old now but I still look at it and love it. It's simple but classy

Mine is a sapphire my husband bought the ring and proposed to me in Sri Lanka. Wedding ring is wishbone to fit the sapphire setting. No eternity ring yet.

Both platinium and diamond. Was found by DH after a very long and secret search as I wanted exactly that type of vintage engagement ring. Wedding ring took one jeweler and a lot of luck. I love all the engraved details. Was very reasonnable as it's old cut diamonds and very small size rings and couldn't be resized.
