I love looking at engagement rings. Does anyone want to share photos? It's not a boasting thread,my ring wasn't particularly expensive. Just for fun.

Mines a pink sapphire with little diamonds either side.

Your hands are fine. I wouldn't post a picture of mine- my hands are awful for my age despite spending a fortune on hand creams.

My engagement ring was a solitaire diamond which I loved but after ExH and I separated it went into jewellery box as I didn't want to look at it. Now with DP and expecting dc in April I figured now was the time to make something beautiful out of the diamond and get a ring I could wear on special occasions. Just picked this up from jewellers this weekend and I love it! It's my Christmas gift to myself.

Here's mine sapphire diamond and platinum made by an independent jewellers. Makes me smile every day!

Thank you Nishky I love it and would wear it everyday but it's opals which due to their size would be liable to pop out so I don't want to give it too much abuse. I would def recommend anyone with rings they don't wear anymore to take them to a jeweller and get something you love made, wish I had done it years ago!

That's true about the opals Mrs James my mum had an opal engagement ring and the stone fell out. You can admire it daily though.

Mine is a emerald cut in a halo with diamond shoulders and a half eternity wedding ring. It's very blingy but I absolutely love it

Engaged at 20 so no money!!!! But I love my engagement ring 20 years on, had it made and used some rose gold from a wedding ring I inherited which kept the cost down. Top eternity ring was given to me after first ds was born. Second eternity ring was given to me out of the blue by MIL last week!!!!

Here's mine. A classic platinum solitaire, slightly twisted. From the side it looks like it's grown, like a tree. .

This is mine, sorry blurry - DH chose solitaire diamond and I wouldn't change it for anything.
Smaller eternity band at bottom is wedding band with diamonds all round, middle ring is 7 stone eternity after I had DS2.

I love them, they are beautiful.

Here's mine sapphire and diamonds. I love it.

This is my engagement ring. It's a yellow diamond with white diamonds round. I love it and it reminds me of a daisy.

Here's mine, it's the photo from the jewellers website. No one wants to see my sausage fingers. Originally from the 1980's but new to me in June this year. It's a rub over design on an 18ct gold band, it sparkles like nothing I've ever seen.
