I love looking at engagement rings. Does anyone want to share photos? It's not a boasting thread,my ring wasn't particularly expensive. Just for fun.

Mines a pink sapphire with little diamonds either side.

I regretted how small mine was after a year or so but now that I have an eternity ring I love all 3! They're platinum and probably need a cleaning after ten years!

I also have a sapphire and diamond eternity ring very similar to this pic that dh let me choose after I had dd. I normally just wear my wedding ring nowadays as the skin under my engagement and eternity rings get itchy if I wear them too long.

We've been saving for ages that I would get an eternity ring because its our 10th year married this year and all these pictures are making me very jealous - they're beautiful!

My grannie's rings, I love them and have worn them every day since she died and passed them onto me. I wore them on my right hand until I got married. The wedding ring is so delicate, it's white and yellow gold. They are both very 'me', I love vintage jewellery.

This is my engagement and wedding ring. Engagement ring is marquise cut which is what I've wanted since I was a little girl

I'm just loving all the rings and the stories behind them. :)

My wedding ring was my grandmother's ring which is a 22 ct rose gold band. DH had a diamond ring made to sit properly with it. It's 22 ct rose gold with a square cut diamond set in platinum and 'kiss me a million times' engraved on the inside of the band.

I love both these rings :)

Absolutely love love love this thread. My engagement ring is a 1.5ct Tiffanys solitaire with the matching plain platinum band for my wedding ring.

I've only taken to wearing mine again recently after feeling for years that I didn't deserve something lovely thank you toxic "D"M

DH and I chose the engagement ring together though it totally isn't what I wanted at the time. I love it though and wouldn't change it for the world. I've had it for 8 years next week and the wedding ring joined it 7 and a bit years ago.

DH got my ER made by a family friend in Sydney, it was then brought over to the UK by another friend whereupon DH-to-be took the day off studying to 'play golf' which was really a 4hr round trip to collect it --while I fumed at him for slacking off and ditching me for the day-- Nine yrs wed, 15yrs together

Mines over 20 years old now. Ceylon sapphire and diamonds. Love it. Lost a diamond out of it last year and cried like a baby. Jeweller replaced diamond, reshaped it (didn't realise it was so battered and out of shape) and polished it all up until it looked brand new. Love it!

mine is five years old, princess cut diamond which DH picked himself! I love it, currently waiting impatiently for an eternity ring to go nicely with it...

This is mine- my original engagement ring was a solitaire, I then got my eternity ring on our 5th anniversary then on our 10th dh had it reset with diamonds around it to match the eternity ring. I love it!!
